nellie - accusations have been made about secret cliques on GN. The accuser is convinced that pm's and emails fly through the ether simply so that the members of the clique can all agree to agree with each other while all disagree with the poster. The poster (who is now in her 3rd/4th/5th incarnation) has a track record of coming up with conspiracy theories, keeping a close eye on who posted what and when, while generally posting strange, muddled and cryptic comments.
I think that a few GN members are fed up being seen as gang members while others are miffed that they're not members of this mythical gang.
In other words yet another storm in a teacup which some of us are finding amusing. A threat which could have become unpleasant has been diverted and become one which is no more than frivolous.
If I have made incorrect or erroneous comments I apologise and am ready to be corrected!!

I was only thinking a few days ago how friendly and kind Gransnet is at the moment! I am amazed that GNHQ are so determined not to allow J back again. I think most people don't mind either way, she certainly wasnt the worst transgressor. How about a referendum GNHQ?

Of course you can, ceesnan, and so can anyone else who wants to. I say this with confidence as a member of a clique I didn't even know about. Gransnet is clearly a magical place.
