Good morning to all from France. Grey, damp but brightening, and quite nippy. Off out with a chum + dog for a long walk and natter. This afternoon, log work with MrF . Some days feel like frontier living!

Flossieturner Tue 10-Jan-17 08:55:00

Morning all, great excitement here in the Flossie household. My Garden make-over is almost finished and my two new trees are arriving today. It like waiting to see the new grandchildren.,
Just slightly taller and less nappies to change.

Thank you for all good wishes.
Ahem,*kittylester*, DH is NOT able to wash up, carry, make drinks for me and get them upstairs, walking with sticks in the house. It is like being ill with tinies to look after hmm
It is a lesson as to how he would cope without me.
Simple answer.
Not sad

Good morning from a bright and blue skied Oxfordshire, looks like it will be a lovely day.
A bit of Spring cleaning on the cards , and lots of laundry to do ( or rather for the machine to do.)smile

Good morning everyone.
Rather windy with drizzle in the Tyne Valley. I'm having unexpected visitors! My SiL has an interview this afternoon, so is passing and dropping off DD and four DGC. I have no kitchen table or chairs. New being delivered later today but in flat pack form.
Hope you feel better soon Daphne.
Have a good day everyone.

Good morning, Michael and all GNs. South Yorkshire sky is showing signs of clearing at the moment; cold though. We both had a good night's sleep, thanks to copious quantities of strong navy rum consumed by DH in an effort to kill his cough. Seemed to work but I hope it doesn't become his go-to remedy hmm. I have some paperwork to tackle this morning and then second school run this afternoon. DD is giving us supper this evening, so no cooking ?. Have a good day folks!

Good morning from a brightening Colchester. Makes a change from grey.
I have a blood test and a sight test this morning, so am glad it's dry as I can walk to them.

PRINTMISS Tue 10-Jan-17 08:29:59

Good morning to you all, I have missed a couple of days I think! The weather here is fine, and looks set for the day which will mean I can go for a little walk, need to get myself properly moving again instead of just roaming round the house and garden. Enjoy your days.

Good mornig. Everyone. Looks better than yesterday outside.

Take care, Daphne. Hope the plumber was on time.

Gym this am, then part 1 of dental implant this pm, a new experience!

Good morning from Lancashire. Dry at the moment but no doubt that will change we had a bit of everything yesterday.
WI for me today, I'm looking forward to the company.
Hope you all have a good day.

Morning All

Clear and bright in Norfolk with just a gentle breeze. Doesn't feel that cold out either - although I only opened the door to toss some crumbs out. The forecast for Norfolk is good, only a light night frost of -2 at most, so perhaps we'll miss the snow. A shame really as 3 year old DGS would love it.

Nelliemoser Tue 10-Jan-17 07:51:10

Good Morning Tuesday. It looks wet outside, still very dark.

The the local council have introduced new low energy lights in our close and I have no idea when they did it. They give a very odd ghostly effect. Hopefully they will be cheaper to run and cut down on light pollution.

Good morning, very windy last night and still gusty this morning. DH is going to take sister and BIL to airport, we thought they may have to delay going home as sister had a fall on Saturday but it is just cuts and bruises.
Not your day Daphne, hope it improves.

ninathenana Tue 10-Jan-17 07:04:17

DAY not dad

sorry Daphne I hope that typo isn't a very unfortunate error on my part flowers

ninathenana Tue 10-Jan-17 07:01:57

Morning all.
Too dark to see the weather. Early start for us H and I need a blood test. If you don't get there early you can queue all morning !

Hope your dad improves Daphne

kittylester Tue 10-Jan-17 06:51:50

Morning Mick, Daphne, everyone!

It's chilly in North Leicestershire. I'm glad I didn't gave to cope with that snow, Mick!

Daphne, it's not your day! I hope the loo is fixed quickly and you can go back to bed. Is DH able to do the pots? Take care of yourself.brew

Enjoy your days everyone. sunshine

DaphneBroon Tue 10-Jan-17 06:43:25

Good morning Mick and everybody. Cold as you say and I am wishing I hadn't booked the plumber for 8 o clock for the en suite loo which has given up flushing sad My temperature is climbing steadily so I think I might be poorly.
Oh and the dishwasher has also packed up. Not my day.

Good Morning Everyone,
its dark still but cold and dry , hopefully will remain that way until we get the forecasted wintry weather?
My sister went to Canada for Xmas/new year ,and they had 6 foot snow drifts in Manatoba.
And it has been the worst winter for 10 years.
