Good morning everyone.
It's dry but dull in the Tyne Valley. The ground is still wet from all the drizzle last night. Must clear out my airing cupboard sometime today as plumber coming tomorrow to start installing the new boiler. He is removing the water tank as new boiler is a combi. Yuck! I hate the upheaval. Let's hope the weather remains mild, we'll be three days without heating.
Have a good Sunday everyone.

Good morning. Dry and mild here in Cornwall. This afternoon we are Wassailing the community orchard. Thankfully it will be dry. Good, bonkers fun!

Good morning, Michael and all GNs. A dull, dry start in South Yorkshire, but we are not going to be going very far until DH is better. kitty you're not the only one who was having weird dreams - last night I crashed two brand new Mercedes and had a discussion about starching collars with the Duke of Devonshire's butler!!
Roast children chicken (that was the iPad not me! shock) for lunch - I hope DH will be up to eating today. We had to take a rain check on boeuf stroganoff yesterday and had soup instead. Have a good day, folks.

Morning all.

I'm with you ffin on that one. I pulled up the kitchen blind and promptly pulled it down again. To shut out the gloom.

There seems to be a lot of coughing going on!!!! Weather doesn't help.

Going to make a Nigel Slater Christmas pie thing today - bit late but must use the ingredients - shall have it with salad to assuage my guilt as it's a bit fattening.

Apart from that I tend to make plans to go out somewhere but fall by the wayside when I think of the damp gloom and cold. I definitely hibernate this time of year.

Good morning from a grey, damp London. Free film preview of "La La Land" at 11 am at Curzon Cinema. It will be on general release from Friday. Rave pre-release reviews so hoping it will be good.
Hope all coughs, tummy upsets, etc. get better!

Morning all.
Dull, grey, dry and very still in N Kent. Basically a repeat of yesterday.
Lazy day for us. Roast chicken to cook later but that's it.

Good morning from a grey damp Colchester. Quiet Sunday planned with roast lamb for lunch.

Good morning, dull and damp here and 6 degrees. Not going to see GC today as their mum has a cold and I have a tummy upset. Phone call last night to say my elder sister had fallen but later told that nothing was broken, always a relief at our age.

Good morning everyone.
Grey and drizzly in Worcestershire. I woke early this morning (I also have a hacking cough?) made a cuppa and did the crossword. Husband still snoring contentedly.
Enjoy your Sunday!

Good morning. It's looking a bit foggy out there in Lancashire, it was miserable all day yesterday. I had a fantastic day out in Manchester though with DGD, feel so lucky.
Wishing you all the best today.

Good morning all!

North Leicestershire is grey but not cold.

I've slept rather later than usual but had some weird dreams. I also seem to have the blessed cough back! angry DH and I had planned a walk round the village this morning but I suspect it will be short stroll instead. Coq au vin to make for dinner and then the Sunday papers.

Enjoy your Sundays everyone.

Morning All

Some low cloud drifting lazily over here in Norfolk implying the forecast of rain might be right.

Off to look at DS's prospective new home today. Ostensibly to help measure up, but really to distract DGS and walk the dog. They're in rented and there's just the one house in the 'chain' with no problems and it's taken eleven weeks so far and no sign of a completion date. No wonder these new on-line agents are taking off. Their last home (chain of three) took five weeks start to finish with Purple Bricks!

Good morning from France. Quiet, still, cold, damp and gloomy outside. Warm, light, cosy and quiet inside.

Good morning Michael damp as usual in Liverpool. Woke up early and was starting to worry so best up doing something instead of lying in bed.
