A late good morning, Michael and all GNs, from a grey, cold South Yorkshire. We are not planning to do much today. DH is not very well and I think he may be coming down with what GS had so I have suggested he stay in bed today (at least he will be close to the bathroom!). I'll go to the library later. Hope you do not suffer as I did at our last visit to Ikea,. Kitty. I felt a migraine coming on in the kitchen department and felt very weird suddenly. Turned grey, was violently sick and had to get out for air. Turns out it was a reaction to the fluorescent lighting overhead! Looked it up later on google and found a full, parallel description of the event.

It's cloudy and fairly mild in my coirner of Northumberland. Yesterday I ordered a new kitchen table and chairs. The one we've been using was once in the conservatory, and is noiw very wobbly. Son coming four his lunch again, as they have building work going on at the hotel where he works, and it's very noisy!

Morning All. Sort of a nothing weather morning in our corner of Somerset. Think we will have a sort of a nothing day as well, back to the paperwork and then the supermarket. That must have been a hard decision nina, our pets are so much a part of the family. Hope Friday is kind to everyone.

Good morning, dark and damp this morning after the frost melted last night. Must pack away decorations and vacuum up the pesky tree needles even though it is an artificial tree.

Good morning from a still darkish Colchester. Will be a couple of degrees warmer than yesterday but cloudy and drizzly. Much preferred the zero degrees with bright sunshine of yesterday - I spent most of it outside.

It's chilly in North Leicestershire but I'm not sure we had across overnight.

Thank you for your birthday wishes. I had a lovely day yesterday. Today, on rhe other hand, we are braving Ikea as DH needs to replace the cabinets and sink in his study with a desk and bookshelves. Wonder what else we will buy.

Sorry about your cat, Nina, it was a good age but you will miss her after all that time.

Kate, take it easy. My bug has resurfaced today - sore throat and headache.

It's now light enough to see the thick frost outside. Plus when H closed the bedroom curtains last night he didn't shut the window.
No wonder the bedroom was bloody cold before the heating came on.

Dark still, but in the light of the street sign it looks still and cold here in Norfolk. Hot chunky toast and home made marmalade for breakfast - and a couple of satsumas to ward off colds. Don't do too much too soon NanKate, take care.

House is quiet this morning, no greetings from our cat. We had to have her put to sleep yesterday. She was 14 so not a bad innings.
