It's warm ish and dry in North Leicestershire.

Good morning, Michael and all GNs. It's still dark in South Yorkshire, but I think it I should set to be a dry day at least. I am not planning to go very far today. It seems mealy mouthed to complain about a cold but this one is still seriously dragging me down. I shall send Himself out to do food shopping today, which probably means we'll be eating biscuits and bacon sandwiches all next week. Have a safe journey, kitty. Enjoy your day, folks.

Morning All

Oh, dear Kitty, not a good time of year for a funeral. I hope all goes well.

I just peeked around the curtain and the moon shone straight back at me, bright and clear. The forecast for Norfolk was for heavily overcast so hopefully it's wrong and we can go for a walk on the beach (hobble in my case, hip still playing up). We were invited for an unexpected Indian meal last evening and I need to burn some calories!

Good morning.
Not raining in Lancashire, it's very mild.
We are interning my Dad's ashes today, it's just over a year since he died. Mum not coming as she's forgotten that he has died and it would be traumatic for her.
Best wishes to you and yours today kitty.
Have a good day everyone.

(If your cold is like the one I've just surfaced from GreyD you're not being mealy mouthed at all. It's a vile one. Look after yourself and I hope you're better soon.)

Morning All. Dark and mild in our corner of Somerset. Best wishes to kitty, nana3 and anyone else with a sad day ahead. Oh greyd this cold is a seriously horrible one, hope your walk helps, don't overdo it though. We've a day with friends ahead so looking forward to it. Hope Thursday is kind to you.

Good Morning Mick and everyone from my dark corner of N Bucks. After a day without rain yesterday I was getting quite hopeful about a bit of outdoor tidying up, but will hold fire until I see what today brings. Good luck on the M25 kittyl I survived it on Monday taking DD and DGS back home (M1-11 stretch) and it wasn't too bad. I just find the thought of it intimidating!
DH is back to MKH for another transfusion today as his Hb has taken a bit of a nose dive to lower than it was before last week's. A transfusion of two units should last him 2 weeks, so a bit disappointing.
Have a good day everybody!

Good morning everyone from a grey but mild London. Kitty am sure your DSiL will appreciate your presence at his dad's funeral; nana hope the day brings a sense of closure to you; GreyD, nurse your cold and enjoy Dh's biscuits and bacon sandwiches!
M25 gives me the heebyjeebies as well!
My day includes lunch with friends to celebrate a friend's special birthday .

Good morning from a grey but mild Colchester.
Was supposed to be babysitting DGS3 while his parents watched his older brother's Christmas play at 9am. Got a call at 6am saying that DGS1 was sick and we would not be needed so we went back to sleep. Then got a message that there would be a family funeral next Friday and now am busy letting people know and making plans for tackling the M25 - you are not alone Kitty

Dull day in N Kent after yesterdays sunshine We are off to buy the last present and brave the crowds at an out of town shopping centre. Wouldn't mind but it's for S to give to his sister !

Morning everyone.
It started grey and gloomy in the Tyne Valley, but is beginning to brighten up a bit now. The decorator is just putting finishing touches to my dining room, so later we'll be able to put it all back together and I'll get rid of all the extra furniture in my living room. ? kitty ? * nana*.
