But half these questions are nonsense. It is important that a new citizen knows that the Magna Carta exited and its implications for living in Britain, but who cares which king was around at the time? These questions mostly demand a knowledge of history - surely citizenship tests should concentrate on the fundamentals of living in Britain? - what is important today.
