Good morning, Michael and all GNs. Good Lord, it's still dark! It will be dry in South Yorkshire today and we are off to watch GS run in a schools cross country, hence the early start (it wasn't my idea - I'm a bad granny, I wanted to stay in bed!). Have a good day, whatever you're doing, folks.

Off to Windsor to do a bit of Christmas shopping with plenty of pit stops for coffee and cake and maybe a light lunch. It really is a nice place to shop if you can squeeze in among the tourists

Morning all. Finishing up cleaning the house and packing for our flight back to UK tomorrow. Fire lit as it is 3 degrees here, although a really blue sky. Just heard that DGS has fractured his elbow in Disneyland Paris! Ah well.

It is quite a bit warmer here in North Leicestershire which I'm quite relieved about as I'm on the library stall at the Christmas market this afternoon. I just hope it doesn't rain.

Grey, mild Saturday devoted to Christmas food planning and ordering. Must post parcel to Dgc in NYC. Christmas card list to be decided, begin writing them . Off to Pilates soon, then coffee with newly widowed friend.

Morning All

Woke at silly o'clock again this morning but managed to get back to sleep. I don't think I'm coughing nearly as badly today but DH says I'm just getting used yo it's!

Off to be a pretend maid at Blickling Hall this afternoon. I love it, bustling around moaning about my lot! Hopefully I'll last the course, but I may spend a bit more time than usual skiving in the kitchen!

There was thick fog on the way to work at 04:30. Less coming ho me though. The sky looks to be clearing nicely, but it's cold, at only 4°c. I might go I to Carlisle later the Christmas stalls will be out in the town centre. It will all depend on how lively I feel!

Have now opened the curtains - and it looks like quite a nice day in north Norfolk! Still a bit cloudy but the sun is doing its best.

Good morning from a cloudy brightish Colchester. Had a lie in and computer had loads of updates, hence lateness.
Will probably walk into town to peruse the various Christmas fairs and then back for ironing in front of Strictly.

Nearly "Good Afternoon" from me! Brighter today but the clouds are gathering so I won't be venturing far.
Looking forward to seeing 2 DDS tomorrow plus DGS and one SIL - Granny treat!
