GN is no more for me. I have no idea why I stuck it for so long. I am sure there are some nice people on here, but every time I log in I see mostly the same old clique, perhaps I should have typed Coven.

Anya and her " cronies" who have not enough brain to be able to articulate something without resorting to profanities.

Elegran who is so terribly bland and boring, yet obviously spends alot of time madly googling an answer to almost every question here to make herself look clever...didn't work Elegran.

DapneBroon " Poetry", is that what it was? I wouldn't give up the day job Daphne!

I do not mix with People like the above in my real life, why on earth would I want to do it here?

Bye Bye. Enjoy your little cyber nit picking. I suspect if I were to read the posts in some months time that not a thing will have changed. YAWN

Time for bed then Mumsy. Didn't you know that being passive aggressive shows you have issues smile

DaphneBroon Mon 05-Dec-16 21:16:21

Fighting an empty room, SAAK..........

Rigby46 Mon 05-Dec-16 21:16:00

<yawn> I'm off to play with the grown ups- not a flounce. I'm clearly needed on GN but I need the adult company of MN now for a while

stillaliveandkicking Mon 05-Dec-16 21:15:03

And clearly the op has been hurt, so it might be an idea to say sorry.

DaphneBroon Mon 05-Dec-16 21:12:11

Ana flounces are clearly being worn shorter this season!

stillaliveandkicking Mon 05-Dec-16 21:10:13

I get you OP totally. People like this that band together and bully someone whether on line or not is still the same thing.

stillaliveandkicking Mon 05-Dec-16 21:04:01

You wouldn't dare dream of saying things like that in real life so hiding behind a screen being nasty huh. Bring it on!

stillaliveandkicking Mon 05-Dec-16 21:02:32

OP. guessing they're out again huh. Take no damn notice. what the hell is didums then? stop being so nasty.

Linsco56 Mon 05-Dec-16 20:59:44

Ad nauseum

Rigby46 Mon 05-Dec-16 20:50:57

And if you want this thread to disappear why did you bother to respond? hmm

Rigby46 Mon 05-Dec-16 20:47:21

Oh didums - we so don't like being criticised do we? And DB - on other threads Shanna, me and other newbies have been told we can't judge because we're new - well sof that for a game of soldiers, I came on this thread to have my say which funnily enough is my right -( where are you thatbags with your belief in free speech ) and I wanted those who were kind on this thread to know I was with them

Ana Mon 05-Dec-16 20:21:53

Mind you, some flounces hardly count as they're so short! grin

Elegran Mon 05-Dec-16 20:19:27

Too late, SAAK, she seems to have gone. Just as well everyone doesn't flounce all the time. There would be no space for anything else, with all the angst and recriminations that would be flying about. It would be as bad as a thirteen-year-old girl's Facebook page.

stillaliveandkicking Mon 05-Dec-16 20:16:23

lets face it without a supposed scape goat every now and again they'd all eat each other smile

stillaliveandkicking Mon 05-Dec-16 20:13:04

I too like a flounce now and again OP. And yes there is always a witches corner on any network, same as in real life.

Don't go, I like you!

DaphneBroon Mon 05-Dec-16 20:00:17

Nobody was making any comments lofty or otherwise about newness or not. So why bother to defend what is not under attack?
Why bother at all to chip in three whole days after shanma has clearly slung her hook except to have a stir at the pot and try to reignite a bit of controversy which had (sensibly) been allowed to die down , mostly through lack of interest the absence of anything new to say.
Many responses to shanma showed awareness of her problems and her fears and were surprisingly sympathetic after the unkind and aggressive way she fired off her parting shots.
Enough already??

Jalima Mon 05-Dec-16 19:56:29

It doesn't take much searching to find out that there are a range of issues in Shanma's previous posts that make her vulnerable - so well done bullies.
hmm
If one hadn't read Shanma's posts regarding her vulnerability and had just read threads where she was making unwarranted attacks on people one might think that was bullying.

Lots of people may have all kinds of issues but don't post about them but they could still be vulnerable; Shanma may not be alone in this.

You are entitled to your say Rigby46 - but so has everyone who may have been hurt by Shanma's previous posts and by this OP.

FarNorth Mon 05-Dec-16 19:50:22

Isn't it enough of a point that Rigby46 wants to have his/her say?

wot Mon 05-Dec-16 19:25:35

Ana, ?

Ana Mon 05-Dec-16 18:34:47

Active list.

Ana Mon 05-Dec-16 18:34:23

And as this thread had (dis)gracefully slipped off the Active thread, what point was there in resurrecting it other than you having to have your say, Rigby46? hmm

Elegran Mon 05-Dec-16 18:30:39

A lot of posters on Gransnet are vulnerable and have multiple family and personal troubles, Rigby46 but most manage not to claim that no-one cares about them when their posts about their problems have been sympathetically answered, not to insist on their right to make whatever comments they wish without anyone challenging them or responding in kind, and not to be childishly rude about other posters in their farewell post.

Rigby46 Mon 05-Dec-16 18:21:54

Oh goodness - new not Jew shock

Rigby46 Mon 05-Dec-16 18:21:10

And I don't want any lofty comments about being too Jew to know what I'm talking about - I'm not the only newish poster who resents that sort of response from
those who clearly regard themselves as 'Gransnet Royalty'by virtue of longevity of membership

Rigby46 Mon 05-Dec-16 18:18:12

I am extremely saddened and somewhat shocked by this thread (with some honourable exceptions). There are some really nasty, snide, hurtful comments (I would have said redolent of the playground but the children I know wouldn't have been so unkind). Well done the pp who said two wrongs don't make a right. It doesn't take much searching to find out that there are a range of issues in Shanma's previous posts that make her vulnerable - so well done bullies.
