Kim19 at last someone who shares my view, I can't get past the disgusting smell to get the cup to my lips to taste it. Quite agree with Ugh!!

Cheapest teabags I can find.

I'm not that fussy, usually Tetley or Typhoo don't like any of the 'fancy' teas and can't abide black/green tea I think its years of NHS canteen tea wot done it I drink 3/4 cups a day. Occasionally an instant of filter coffee if I can be bothered faffing around.

I use Twinings Everyday Tea but my favourite is Lady Grey-so refreshing!

Yorkshire, and one day I will find a decent fine bone china mug that is what is says! Fine bone china. I am running out of shops to look in that's for sure, because tea certainly tastes best out of thin china....

Lady Gray, all day. Seem to have 'gone off' coffee, except for the occasional one when out meeting friends, but love my regular china mugs of Lady Gray. Even take the teabags away with me on holiday.

I like Yorkshire tea too.
I also like Twinings chocolate which not many places sell but I am not keen on other kinds now that I have found that.
I very rarely drink coffee so any instant will do.

I love Tic Toc Redbush- a late find in a life of loving tea, lots of it, every day.

I like it best in an Emma Bridgewater mug, one of two I bought my late mother. Pricey but lovely - one's a blue tit one and the other a pied wagtail - and were practical with failing sight and didn't tip over easily.

Sometimes I have it first thing in bed with newspaper, thanks to dh, otherwise at kitchen table. I love any tea, any time, and dh has joked I'm rarely seen not carrying a mug of tea...

Every time I leave the UK to come back here, I buy Fortnum and Mason ASSAM superb, I have it in the afternoon in a china mug, and its delicious, cant afford to buy many boxes, make do with TYPHOO which I drink loads of, look forward to my next UK visit. Just off for my cuppa.

A nice strong tea, like Glengettie or Tetley. Two tea bags and a splash of milk. One sugar. In a large china cup.

Can't abide weak tea, or tea from a mug, or faffy Redbush or that one that tastes of perfume.

I'm funny about tea and will only drink it at home, made exactly to my liking.

Rarely drink coffee, it's Earl grey for me too. Have found pg tips earl grey are particularly good. Also like lady Grey. Very refreshing. Nice China not too thick mug, what's not to like?

My favourite is Tetley decaf. My neurologist said I should drink decaf as I get bad migraines (for the past 55 years!) and have a chronic daily headache. Tea is my favourite drink, but I do like coffee too, but it has to be real coffee and not instant, which I don't like at all. I don't have coffee every day though, usually two or three times a week.

Well what a great selection of Teas (and a few coffees). It has heartened me to know that like me many of you like your tea in a china cup, it makes all the difference IMO.

Yes Brenda I too drink your Yorkshire tea in the afternoon. I would expect nothing less of you being a Yorkshire Lass. We will walk down to the concert tonight and I tell you it us a bit parky here in Bucks, I will definitely need my thermals.

Now Kitty I am a bit worried about you and your gin with your toast and marmalade . I think you need to be outside the Headmistress' Office pretty soon to explain yourself.

My day starts with a mug of tea made by my lovely husband. We only use Punjana (a small Irish company); their tea is strong and flavourful and one of their teabags is perfect for our little teapot and small china mugs. Probably have another couple of cups during the day.

We usually have instant coffee (Cap Colombie, can't remember who makes it) but our ground coffee of choice is Tesco's own-brand French - good and strong, with hot milk.

You said "cuppa" but please can I mention two? Peppermint tea (brilliant for starting the day - DH brings me one every morning) and M&S decaff instant coffee. The latter is the very best of the instant decaffs we've tried - and it's Fair Trade.

Yorkshire or Clipper decaff. for me and I too love my "Teasmade".

I have Tesco own brand tea and I drink a lot of it, in a china mug. I've had to cut down due to bladder issues but still drink 6 or 7 cups a day. I don't drink much coffee but occasional instant or filter at home but never drink it in a coffee shop, it's always too strong and bitter for me.

Earl grey during the day, but love a Tesco's vanilla chai latte last thing at night- bliss!

Didn't know you could still get 99 tea. I always drank it until I couldn't get it any more. Have to do with Tetley's.
My friend keeps serving me Earl Grey, which I hate, but I don't want to hurt her feelings.

I hate coffe, just the smell will drive me away. I drink twinings breakfast tea and assam mixed together. I think the water where you live changes the taste so different teas are best in different areas. Yorkshire tea is no good here as it is for hard water, we have very soft water.
