do you buy your husband's clothes?

Me buy my husband's clothes? Never. I am married to a clothesaholic peacock. He has more clothes than anyone I know. On our recent holiday in America he said he wouldnt comment on what clothes I bought on condition I didn't comment on what he purchased. I must admit I now have two tops which I would never have thought of buying which actually look good. How can a man who already has15 leather jackets possibly need 4 more? On the other hand he is always well dressed and I am proud to have him by my side.

my OH loves clothes and shopping for them,he is always well dressed,I wouldn't even buy him socks ,my problem is I hate clothes shopping and he drags me round shops pointing out things he thinks will "suit" me ,I buy most of my things online,try them at home and if I dont like them they go back .

DH was an adult when I married him and seems to to be one still. He is quite capable of buying his own clothes and if he looks a mess that is his problem.

I would prefer it if he dressed a bit more smartly, but I do not think it any of my business to dictate to him how he should dress. He has never turned up at a wedding or funeral in jeans and a T shirt or gone to a formal event in shorts and flip flops.

Similarly he is free to tell me which of my clothes he likes or dislikes, but I make the decisions about what I am going to wear.

A few years ago, we realised DH and a friend's DH wore the same (M&S) jumpers that we had bought. One Sunday in our church the other DH got up to speak at the front and I realised he had on the same jumper that my DH was wearing so I hurried my DH to the front to stand alongside other DH-and said "just in case you thought they borrowed each other's jumpers! Oh how we all larfed

Mine suddenly appears in new things and tells me he bought them ages ago in the sales. Nothing ever goes with anything else and he will be ready to go out wearing about five different colours. He thinks it looks nice. One item was a vivid bright yellow sweatshirt you could see him a mile off. 'Where on earth did you get that!' I said.
He looked really hurt and pointed to a little black Nike swoosh, and told me:
'It's Designer!!' He was really pleased with it.

No, I might give an opinion if asked (rarely) but he mostly chooses his own.
Some of it I do wonder why, but he's the one who has to wear it lol.

I have bought all the Bodach's civilian clothes for the last 45 years! I always accompanied him when he was being measured for his working suits.
Actually, he has been wearing the same styles for 45 years ( v necked jumper, polo or short sleeved casual shirt, chino type trousers)

Never in a million years.

Mine knows he has no dress sense so we usually shop for his clothes together. He does know what he likes though and will show me things and can tell by my face whether I like it or not. Sometimes when I can see he really likes something I'll say well its ok but not for best and he's happy to be guided by me. He has got much better at choosing now I must say and actually picked up a lovely blue 3 piece suit from Burtons which looks really good on him.

Shudder !! I still remember the Brown Suit bought on a trip out without me !! and the sheepskin coat ............... sadly I now have carte blanche as he is confined to his chair , I do try to bring home something he will like
