Following the husbands monopolising the TV to watch football thread, I wondered how many TV sets you have?

We have 4 shock - in the lounge, 'playroom', kitchen and bedroom.

Just the one.

Just the one.

Three, smart TV in lounge, small one in Kitchen/diner and one in our bedroom which is seldom switched on....

One, although until moving to this house we always had two ( lounge and bedroom).I always hated one in the bedroom so put my foot down about it at this house, and we just have a radio in the bedroom now, much better.I don't watch massive amounts on tv, probably due to not having a tv set until I was about 15.

Just the one, but it's a mammoth one. DH bought us a new one, 55 inch screen. If we were to move somewhere smaller it would take up an entire wall!

Two. One in the lounge, with Sky, and a small one in th kitchen/family room, which only gets switched on in times of great import, such as the Trump election.

I don't watch anything on my iPad.

Do you use ear phones when you watch online?

2 but second one is rarely used. Would never have one in the bedroom. If I were on my own I probably wouldn't bother with one at all. I ' d just use another way to watch a particular program.

One in the sitting room, not too large, 32". I too would not have one at all if I lived alone.

Two. One in the living room connected to sky and a small smart tv in the bedroom. I rarely watch "live" tv usually watch what I want either on the sky planner or on catch up tv

Three. One in the living room, one in the spare bedroom which is attached to DS's Xbox and one in his bedroom which is never used. Extra TVs are superfluous nowadays as there are so many other ways to watch.

In use, 2, but altogether, 5. The one most watched is the one in here, but my daughter has a small one in her bedroom that she watches for about a half hour when she goes to bed. There`s one in what was my husband`s bedroom that he kept for his PS4 games. The other 2 are the now redundant caravan TV/DVD combi, and another small one that was in the spare bedroom before hubby got his biggie screened TV.

Two, one in the lounge/living room which is the one we watch mainly, although only in the evenings and not every evening. The other is a small one in the study/music room which is only used rarely eg when we wAnt to watch different things or if one of us has a 'meeting' in the living room and the other wants to watch TV.
We have never had one in the bedroom as that is 'for sleeping' (quote from DH) and almost never watch online or on other devices apRt from Occasional catching up on iplayer etc.
We are usually out in the evenings but record stuff on sky and watch later. Havent got a smart TV whatever that is!

Two now. One in the sitting room, one in our bedroom. The two 'spare' ones in the loft recently left the building. There is a large screen computer in a second bedroom which is often used for iPlayer and the like for an escape Sometimes use the iPad to watch tv. Have resisted all suggestions for a television in our new extension, it's intended for a quiet room.

One. Would like another for the grand Kids room but money is tight. Hence I am forever entering competitions I never win

One but as we live in the back of beyond we don't always have signal or the electricity to use it as both disappear for no reason even on a bright still summers day.

Auntieflo Tue 29-Nov-16 09:33:10

Just the one in the lounge.

sunseeker Tue 29-Nov-16 10:09:01

Three - one in the sitting room, one in the bedroom and one in the kitchen. The bedroom one is rarely used - only if I decide to go to bed early and want to watch a favourite programme. The one in the kitchen I use for company. DH and I used to have long conversations over dinner and now I switch on the TV just for the sound of another voice.

One and it's not very big, I am thinking of getting a larger one so that I can read subtitles, but I hate it when the tv dominates the room.

Heard an ad on the radio for a Christmas 'do' for children - two children under 7 were asked what they wanted from Santa - answer: one said i phone, the other said a huge tv for her bedroom. Heaven forbid.

FarNorth Tue 29-Nov-16 10:19:12

One, not often watched.

Jayh Tue 29-Nov-16 11:41:50

Two, but I am using the iPad more often to watch programmes. I can see the day when tellies are old school and we use individual tablets for viewing.

BlueBelle Tue 29-Nov-16 11:50:21

One Tv plus my radio
I use to work with the general public and couldn't tell you how many told me they were telling me they were getting big pink or some other special colour TV s for their little ones bedrooms
I also had one lady tell me her 3 year old son's favourite programme was Jeremy Kyle and he sat very still to watch it and loved it Ummmmmmmmm

Grannybags Tue 29-Nov-16 12:03:33

One and a radio in every room, which I used to listen to all the time. My husband has recently retired and keeps talking (!) so have to switch radio off as he hasn't got an off button!wink

Azie09 Tue 29-Nov-16 12:03:43

One which we've had for at least 10 years! It has a screen of about 14 inches I think and it has raised eyebrows whenever a broadband engineer, etc, has come to the house to do something. We thought we'd treat ourselves to a new tv this Christmas but the 'choice' and the all singing, all dancing nature of the tvs available in the store frightened us and we ran away!
We watch IPlayer etc on a computer.

Envious Tue 29-Nov-16 20:16:56

Three but once in a bigger house we had four one in the kitchen.

millymouge Tue 29-Nov-16 20:57:45

One in the lounge, one in our bedroom, one in the conservatory. Sometimes watch things on my laptop.
