Sarah Kennedy always did, and I found it mighty annoying. By no means as annoying as some of the shock things she came out with on that morning show though.

I have to ask - was that a typo in the thread title or do people really call it Sainsbug's?

There isn't one within 50 miles of me, so I wouldn't know!

And you're dead right, roses. I've never known a man get stressed out over a little matter like Christmas (there's nothing to it, right? grin).

I think I like it... There's a lot of detail and a worthwhile message and I certainly prefer it to that trampoline one. I'd have preferred a decent better singer though.

yes, it's quite good, although it should have been from a womans perspective [the Mum not the dad] as my DH has never stressed himself at all about Christmas [but I did in the past.]

tut tut ginny his name is Kevin! tchgrin

ginny Mon 14-Nov-16 15:29:47

Better tha JL and M&S but a bit long. My favourite in Colin the Carrot.

Yes. Says something important about family life - and also the variety of family life -rather than having animals on trampolines, and also generating money for Great Ormond Street.

Candlefran Mon 14-Nov-16 13:16:30

Well, I absolutely love it. grin And the song could be a big Christmas hit. And money is going to Great Ormonde Street!

I liked it but I'm feeling in need of a little schmaltz today.

sue1169 Mon 14-Nov-16 12:47:50

Ohhh yuk and possibly three minutes too long!??.....

Alima Mon 14-Nov-16 12:40:10

I had no idea it was James Corden singing!

Daisyanswerdo Mon 14-Nov-16 11:48:06

It's a shame about the pseudo-American accent - 'I wanna give the gradest gift' etc.

Greyduster Mon 14-Nov-16 11:42:34

Agreed. Not a hit with me. The only good thing about it is that James Corden is only singing in the background - I wonder how they persuaded him to stop at that!

Alima Mon 14-Nov-16 11:26:27

No.

harrigran Mon 14-Nov-16 11:19:40

OMG they get worse, this one is dire.

www.telegraph.co.uk/business/2016/11/14/has-sainsburys-stolen-the-show-with-its-musical-christmas-advert2/ Should be a hit with the workers]]

God knows how much they paid James Corden!
