The Cowes ferry.

Wobblybits Sat 19-Nov-16 20:25:27

I'm up for another clue please.

Wobblybits Sat 19-Nov-16 20:24:36

Ana == you were too good tonight and paintbrush proved too easy for such experienced quizzers.

Sorry about the slow refreshes, GC taking over. All in bed now.

Having just read some more about squirrel brushes I will see if there is a synthetic alternative. I do have 3 sable brushes and none of the synthetics are as good.

wb Good luck with GD's going to bed, so glad mine are getting older now. I find that much easier. However, OH's family are now producing GGCs, they are very tiring, but fun (in small doses) grin

Ana Sat 19-Nov-16 20:13:19

I think the answer should just have been 'paintbrush'!

Shandi got it anyway smile

shandi6570 Sat 19-Nov-16 20:11:56

Oops, I missed the response from wobbly. I think the refreshes are being very slow tonight.

Does anyone want another clue or shall I leave it for tonight?

shandi6570 Sat 19-Nov-16 20:10:18

No, I know absolutely zilch about paint brushes, only heard of sable and now guessing grin

rosesarered Sat 19-Nov-16 20:08:49

Never heard of a squirrel mop brush (who has!)

shandi6570 Sat 19-Nov-16 20:07:39

So is the answer a pure squirrel hair watercolour brush?

Wobblybits Sat 19-Nov-16 20:04:43

Wobbly I think you are close enough. It was the Squirrel mop brush that is on my Xmas list.
Squirrel hair
Copper binding
Wooden shaft

Don't mention Strictly, we have it on pause whilst GC go to bed

shandi6570 Sat 19-Nov-16 20:00:48

Hi Ana, I forgot that was on. No, I'm not clued up on expensive paint brushes either, just blind guessing on the animal part.

Wobblybits Sat 19-Nov-16 20:00:45

Yes squirrel
10 to go

Ana Sat 19-Nov-16 19:58:55

We're probably all watching Strictly, and I have no idea what hair an expensive paintbrush is made of!

shandi6570 Sat 19-Nov-16 19:56:42

Hmm, horse?

Wobblybits Sat 19-Nov-16 19:54:14

This is an animal that is eaten, but not by many

shandi6570 Sat 19-Nov-16 19:53:22

Squirrel?

shandi6570 Sat 19-Nov-16 19:51:52

Where is everyone, I need help. My knowledge of poor animals and their hair used for brushes is not huge sad. However I am a hypocrite as I eat meat confused

Wobblybits Sat 19-Nov-16 19:47:48

Close, but not Sable.

But the hair is the animal part

shandi6570 Sat 19-Nov-16 19:31:30

Sable paint brush?

Wobblybits Sat 19-Nov-16 19:27:02

And it's not a badger

Wobblybits Sat 19-Nov-16 19:23:46

Not a hand brush and I have never tried to shave a badger !

12 to go

The animal would help

shandi6570 Sat 19-Nov-16 19:23:08

PS - Judging by the hairs in the bathroom sink I think this should be on OH's Christmas list!!

Wobblybits Sat 19-Nov-16 19:21:51

Clue the one I would like is circa £100, the one I might get is £40

shandi6570 Sat 19-Nov-16 19:21:21

Oh wobbly, you may think it easy but I don't.

Badger shaving brush?

shandi6570 Sat 19-Nov-16 19:20:18

Okay, this could take time as I can think of lots of different brushes:

Brush used with dustpan - handbrush?

Wobblybits Sat 19-Nov-16 19:20:01

This is too easy, so it has to be the expensive one on my Xmas list
