Besides usual family we have 4 from abroad this year so have rented a large place in Devon. Will be 11-13 adults, a toddler and a small baby.
We will be having trad Christmas dinner cooked by us, and will be staying at least 5 days though not everybody will be there the whole time.
I'm starting to make lists - e.g. rubber gloves, turkey foil and my own knives and peeler etc. - can never get on with other people's - not to mention plenty of loo roll! And decorations. Will have to take enough food for a few days since not near shops, but will split between the adult couples so not all falling on me.
Just wondering whether anyone has tips of things NOT to forget in such circs!
Have previously stayed at an otherwise v nice seaside place where there was no loo roll on arrival, no tea towels and nothing to wipe kitchen tops with, so will be taking those anyway. Hairdryer is another I've just thought of.
