How old are they? If they can read there are tiny books of jokes they would love.

I think Tiger are a Dutch company they are brilliant for cheap assortment of toys, stationery, and nic-nacky things this is just a little bit of things they do..

I think the Tiger shops are Danish, in fact. One has 'popped up' near us and it's got some interesting bits and pieces of stock. Well worth a look. As I said, ours is a pop-up, ie it's rented an empty shop for a short period and then it will disappear, probably after Christmas, but I don't think all Tigers are pop-up.

Re the OP's question, do you have a Works shop near you? It's great for the sort of thing you are looking for. And what about coins? A shiny 20p, 50p or a pound might be a good idea.

Have a look at party bag toys. Our Tesco has a selection next too the paper plates, banners etc.

If you have a Lidl near you they occasionally give away little toys in a bag called Stickies, they are little figured that stick to a surface and there's a whole collection. We have a bagful waiting for the GC, they like opening the packet to see which one theyve got and lining them alll up. We got one free for every £10 spent, they don't always have them but when they do we ask for them.

I love the local Tiger shop near me. If there is something you fancy, do not leave it too long because with some items they cannot always get a replacement. Everything appears to be well made and presented and it is so cheap.
