Christmas present for my 8 year old GD

This year, I'm really stuck for ideas for my GD's Christmas pressie. My budget is around £25 .... any ideas gransnetters?

Best thing I ever gave to an 8yo (his opinion) was a small cardboard box full of little things like a lucky dip - pencil, rubber, marbles, pack of cards, wind-up torch, joke book, etc. It won't cost as much as £25 either.

Magic set? Book token? (I have found children love the idea of being able to go and 'buy' what they want)
