Here we are again...
happy as can be
all good friends and jolly good company.
Never mind the weather,
never mind the rain,
as long as we're together...Woops she goes again.

A big, warm welcome and please continue to enjoy the companionship.

wine cupcake and smile until I return tomorrow. x

So pleased n&g, a good day indeed. Teddy will love being back home as much as his family will love having him there kitty. Hospital never seems to be the place to recover, much easier at home. It's a bit chilly here, currently no heating as the installation of an extra radiator seems to be causing the plumber a major headache. Hope he sorts it before we are all icebergs! Fortunately our friends are on their way home so not freezing them as well. Take care all.

dustyangel Fri 18-Nov-16 13:27:40

Just popped in to see if there was any news from N&G. I'm so pleased the news is good, it sounds as if your brother is already making a good recovery. The wonders of modern medicine! smile
And very good to hear that little Teddy is safely home Kitty.
Can we all breathe a sigh of relief now? grin

Will try to come back later to catch up with all the news.

callgirl1 Fri 18-Nov-16 15:53:36

Fantastic news about your little brother N&G, and also about little Teddy. Great news on a dull day.

Bellanonna Fri 18-Nov-16 16:56:39

Sweet little voice, WB

Lona Fri 18-Nov-16 17:15:37

NandG Fantastic news, you must be so relieved. Boredom is always a good sign sunshine
kitty I'm glad Teddy is going home too, good news all round!

ann and anno I'm amazed that you've both seen snow today, it's been cold but sunny here, thank goodness. Well, until later this afternoon when it persisted down.
It's Friday so..... bottoms up! winewine

soop Fri 18-Nov-16 17:20:25

Wobbly I shall listen out for your granddaughter's voice.

Galen You deserve not to have to deal tricky individuals. I also think that CAB would suit your temperament and talent.

There is a significant fall of snow on the peaks. We motored through a heavy hailstorm with thunder and lightning on our way home from Campbeltown. The road surface was tricky. I shall share this morning's view through the window looking towards Jura.

My heart feels very much lighter now that us lot have heard good news on the health issues that have worried us. Well done, young Teddy. Well done, N&G's brother. flowers and a very big smile.

soop Fri 18-Nov-16 17:21:53

Lona As it's a very happy Friday, I shall join you in a wine later. Slainte!

soop Fri 18-Nov-16 17:23:46

By the by...didn't Andy play well? It was a super special match. More to come tomorrow. Yay!

cornergran Fri 18-Nov-16 17:28:11

wobbly just got to listen to the voiceover, you must be very proud of her, beautifully and touchingly spoken.

callgirl1 Fri 18-Nov-16 17:39:01

Wobbly, I`ve just watched the video, what a l9vely little voice she has!

callgirl1 Fri 18-Nov-16 17:39:23

Sorry, lovely!

soop Fri 18-Nov-16 17:41:49

Good evening one and all. Stay cosy warm. I shall pop in again tomorrow. smile moon

Jalima Fri 18-Nov-16 17:42:26

What a sweet little voice and didn't she do well Wobblybits!!

N&G glad to hear your brother's operation went well - ha ha I Spy would be funny when you couldn't see what each other was spying.

Bellanonna Fri 18-Nov-16 17:42:39

Amazing pictures soop. Lucky you!

Jalima Fri 18-Nov-16 17:43:19

Hope you are cosy and warm too soop, with all the snow outside.

Although I must say it is very snug in your kitchen wink

Wobblybits Fri 18-Nov-16 18:05:59

If you can get BBC North Lincolnshire & Yorks, it will be on Children in need tonight

Charleygirl Fri 18-Nov-16 18:22:35

Wobblybits the sound on this machine is obviously having a day off. I will try again tomorrow.

We have had sunshine in London but it has been bitterly cold. No doubt Tara will appear in a couple of hours warm and dry. I hope that we do not have snow here this winter but I have a nasty feeling if it is this cold mid November, heaven knows what it may be like in January.

Such a pity that the funds do not stretch to a house in a warmer climate to get away from the winter weather here. Tara would not approve- too much upheaval for her.

soop is Bracken settled in a cosy spot indoors yet? She and Rory could cuddle up on the sofa.

NanaandGrampy Sat 19-Nov-16 09:15:45

Morning all !!

WB how proud you must be of her and how well did she do? Lovely . Brought a smile to my face this morning that's for sure !!

Can you believe my brother is going home today ?? I tell you that man is made of strong stuff. Apart from a headache he is looking well. I know his lovely wife can heave a sigh of relief . They make such a lovely couple .

Our visit to the hospital went remarkably well and we can be reassured that our eyes are fine for another year. It was quite bizarre to be called in together though ! We usually go to a local clinic but a new contract and cost cutting has once again centralised services. The hospital must be raking it in with car parking charges . They're extortionate !!

Kitty* how is young Teddy doing ? I do love his name !

Loved the photo of the snow covered mountains soop .

My photography club competition this month is under the theme of 'colourful' so I'd best get my skates on although I am currently favouring this photo I took on a walk through the woods with Sam !

Hope you are all well, warm and safe xx

WE missed most of CIN as we were baby sitting her little brother an he was a right pickle, we went to bed just after 9, totally knackered. I ho[e we can get a copy of the original video the BBC made. They came to her home to record the voice over.
Also our son was the MC at an industry awards ceremony last night, first time I have seen him in full evening dress, wow, what a change from his usual scruffy self.

Wobblybits Sat 19-Nov-16 12:39:39

Just watched the broadcast on catchup. hmm

For anyone that watched it, it was not the voices of the two sisters, as the announcer said, it was our GD and another girl, our GS is NOT in prison.

soop Sat 19-Nov-16 12:49:46

A crisp, bright Saturday afternoon and I've popped into our kitchen to catch up with the latest news.

Wobbly We also missed much of CIN. It's amazing that so much money has been raised yet again. A remarkable achievement on behalf of all those who participated and contributed to a worthy cause. I, like countless others, miss dear Terry Wogan.

NanaandGrampy Thank you for yet more good news regarding your brother. Wow! He's one tough cookie.
The photograph is perfect.

Charleyg Rory and Bracken now have a large piece of carpet on which to loll. They settle down close to the boiler. We need to leave the door ajar (otherwise Bracken would howl with panic) and I've placed a rush cat basket lined with fleece in B's chalet. She seems to prefer to wander off to her own sleeping quarters after she's enjoyed her ten o'clock supper of chicken breast. wink

Jalima and Ballanonna I shall share two photos taken earlier today. The air is crystal clear.

Bellanonna Sat 19-Nov-16 15:13:12

N&G. What good news about your brother. The earlier anxiety for you all must have been awful. Love the picture, beautiful fungus, though deadly poisonous I believe. Hope you get a prize!

Bellanonna Sat 19-Nov-16 15:15:14

Soop - those pictures are wonderful. I keep thinking what an amazing view you have from your house. interesting sky , too.

DaphneBroon Sat 19-Nov-16 15:31:38

Stunning pics of a stunning view soop!
As it is so cold today I thought it might be a good time to sort out my freezer, putting the baskets in the (freezing cold) garage while I rearranged and chucked.
What a miserable cold task that was!! ☃️☃️☃️
It is however now possible to see what we have got and hopefully eat our way through much of it before restocking for Christmas, thereby perhaps saving a bawbee or two towards the festive outgoings.
I had a lovely day in London yesterday with DD and guess who, what a happy little chap he is. Favourite game seemed to be blowing raspberries at granny then doubling up laughing!! DD had an appointment at Whipps Cross so my "job" was to keep Flynn entertained while she was being seen. We looked at the interesting hygiene and safety charts, the records of cardiac arrests(none) falls on the ward(none) and some pictures of smiling NHS staff. Oh and I walked him around using DD's sling singing silly songs grin as you do.

dustyangel Sat 19-Nov-16 16:22:04

Oops Kitty! I see that I didn't read properly and Teddy wasn't home when I posted, hopefully he is home now and probably has his parents and grandparents waiting on him hand and foot. smile

N&G it's good to hear your brother is doing well now that he is home again. I love the toadstool picture, thank goodness your eyesight is as good as it can be.
There is a tendency here to call couples in together at the doctors or hospital, I fight against it when I can! grin

WB I'm glad you explained that your DS was not actually in prison. grin Your DGD sounded sounded so real and so sad, that it would have been easy to think that was the true situation.

soop you have a beautiful view from your window even when a chilly crisp day. Well done MacSporran! We hope to eventually be able to look west at the sunsets from inside the house. I will try to post a photograph of last night's sunset in a minute.
