I loved 10cc. Who are the remaining members?

They did cherry, one of my favourites.

Graham Gouldman is the only original, but Rick Fenn and the drummer (Paul someone?) are long serving members. They also had a very good vocalist and keyboard player with them.

Recently saw an original youtube clip of 10cc singing "I'm not in Love" - really enjoyed listening to it and thought the main singer, on the keyboard, was really good looking. How did I miss that all those years ago?

He's not bad looking now either!

danni that's Eric! He's gorgeous. He used to be in the Mindbenders, prior to 10cc. They sang Groovy Kind of Love.

I didn't like I'm Not in Love much (even if Eric was singing).

Their songs were all kind of ..kooky, weren't they?

I also liked 10cc. There is a documentary on I player BBC 4 about 10cc, it is really informative as a behind the scenes look at their talent. I didn't know they were responsible for writing so many other hits.

In the 70s we just enjoyed the music and had no access to the serious business of music and song writing. Unless of course you were in the business!

Yes, that's a fascinating documentary isn't it; well worth watching. Has anyone seen The Hollies on tour? Again, I didn't appreciate how good they were at the time, especially Graham Nash. Squeeze are supposed to be good live, too.

I mentioned The Hollies because Goldman wrote Bus Stop, one of my all time favourite songs along with For Your Love and No Milk Today. I only realised this when I saw the documentary [just as I hadn't realised how many songs Carole King had written for other people; likewise Nile Rodgers....]

Eric is no longer playing with them, however the singer last night was also very good looking!

Squeeze were also very good live when we saw them a couple of years ago.

Tegan, "Bus Stop" has such clever lyrics, one of my favourites, too. I saw the documentary on 10CC, very good but I was amazed to learn that they weren't all American!

Just had to listen to it on utube; has a folky feel to it which I'd never noticed before. I used to have a crush on a boy from the next school that always used to be at my bus stop in the morning..of course, he never noticed me . Strangely enough, my future [now ex] husband would probably have been on the same bus sometimes. Not sure how people remember lyrics like that.

How could anyone forget them, more like! 'Bus stop, wet day, she's there I stay - under her umbrella' and that's without looking at Youtube. I can hear it in my head as I type.

How tetchy - I was just making the point that the lyrics of that particular song are very memorable, and I don't understand why you'd think otherwise. Sorry I spoke!

I remember most lyrics from pop songs all through the sixties and early seventies, they are super glued in my head.

Every one who saw us thought that we were quite insane, one day her name and mine are going to be the same.... tra la!

The 70s. Some great music but some awful fashion. The children love to laugh at photos of me in my hot pants and my Afro perm.

Have seen 10CC a few times NonnaW the most recent was last year when they played a music festival in our town. They were as good as they ever were.
