Our local garden centre is putting up its display on 1st October. Far too soon I think.

Is it me, or are the shops putting Christmas cards/gifts out earlier than ever. We still have some beautiful weather and I still feel it's summer (my opinion ). Why not enjoy it, before going on to the next season (which I also love ) Christmas should start around November time, When it's all crisp and fresh, then I feel more like spending.
