Good morning all.
Dull here in Stockport. I am late up again as I am having very bad nights, the only downside of my new knee. I just can't get it, or me, comfortable in bed.

Cloudy and breezy in the Tyne Valley. Nothing much on today, I'll relax and do some crochet. I'm having trouble with a blocked ear, I feel all lop sided.

Good morning, Michael and all GNs. I am late on here this morning. Had a decent night's sleep for a change. The sun is out here in South Yorkshire and we may get a walk in today. And some baking, I think, as DH was complaining yesterday that I always seem to be baking for other people and not for us! Have a good day, folks, whatever it brings you.

Good morning from sunny Colchester. Another lovely day here. Had the garden sprinkler on again last night.
Nothing planned today, just pottering.

It's another lovely day here on the SE Hampshire coast. The Michaelmas daisies are in full bloom.

DH is off with his cycling chums shortly for a 40+ miles ride up the South Downs and I am planning to go to the monthly Farmers'Market.

Our eldest DGD was 15 yesterday and we are all going out for an Italian meal this evening to celebrate. Tomorrow her Dad is doing a sky dive in aid of the charity Headway. Rather him than me!

It's a fairly bright start today in North Leicestershire with pink streaks in the sky.

We have a busy day in prospect. I have to open the library and then do some bits and bobs in the village. The real treat is taking DGD1 for lunch and then clothes shopping. This has become a tradition as her birthday treat since we first took her three years ago. Her preference then was for 'beautiful dresses' and we ended up buying her bridesmaid dresses which she wore at every given opportunity until her next birthday. Sadly she is now into fashion and this year's treat looks likely to be a denim dress, boots and leggings.

Good morning! Wet n windy in Penrith today but spirits are bright and all is well. I've run out of coffee so a quick supermarket dash is called for! Have a lovely day ?
