obviously not sleeping in the bathroom but it being the en suite and door open added to the warmth of the bedroom. I have stainless steel radiators that seem to get very hot very quickly, something I should have taken into consideration when I re-designed the house.

Last night the sky was clear and the moon was lovely but the temperature dropped quite steeply. My CH came on at 2am, made the bathroom cosy but a bit warm for sleeping.
GC have a birthday party this morning so I will visit them for an hour or two this afternoon ☺

Good morning to you all, the sun is warm on my back through the window, but not the awful heat of a week ago, thank goodness. I feel human again! Our son is coming to lunch, so we shall have an afternoon of 'Mrs. Brown's Boys' dvds, could do without that, but it is good to have him with us on the odd occasion, and he does enjoy his food! Lovely afternoon yesterday playing bowls, and doing catch-up with some friends. I shall be exhausted tomorrow, but happily so. Enjoy your days.

It's definitely autumn in North Leicestershire - all grey and drippy! I feel quite a bit better today so I'm going to attempt to go shopping for essentials and then I'm going to greyduster's for lunch.

Good morning from cloudy Colchester. Much more seasonal now. How odd it feels to wear cardigan, socks etc again! But so nice not to be a sweaty heap after a short walk.
Quiet Sunday adding the photos we took yesterday to our family tree. Didn't find out much more than we already knew, except that our ancestors were labourers living hand to mouth and those who live there now have million pound houses!

It's a beautiful sunny morning in the Tyne Valley. It feels a lot cooler, there is condensation on the inside of the conservatory windows, and my little plum tree's leaves are turning yellow.
Autumn is here. Our son is coming for tea today as my OH is working until 4pm.
