That's true, but they'd have to be careful not to draw attention to themselves by repeating past behaviour.

I can't see how anyone can be banned for life, they could simply re join using a different email address and name. I have several email addresses that I use for the U3A groups I run.

And I don't think there was ever any indication that STB had been banned for life! It's very rare for that to happen.

The problem is :-

GNHQ does not like anyone changing their name

But

If you de-register (as I have done recently) you cannot come back under your old name, I would love to have come back as Pompa (hence I still refer to Mrs P, so I make no secret of who I was)

I'm here ladies, all is fine. Thank you all so much though, it means a lot that you have missed me. I've just been up and down about DS going and over the last couple of years have bored myself with it all, so I thought I would lie low for a bit, as no doubt I have bored some of you too with it all.

He goes next Friday. I went away to the spa but had to come back after the first night as I wasn't well and didn't manage to get out of the hotel room anyway, no restaurant meal, no massage, nothing. Not even tele, as there were about five channels working when promised far more. I had to watch CSI so I came home, I can't be having that going on!

I have been trying to get the house ready for when he goes, you know, like you do when you go on holiday. It's been a bit of a slog when at one time I would have had it all done in an hour. Never mind, getting on the better side now.

I had noticed myself that there seemed a few new posters and the older posters weren't around as much. I hope that they are ok too and glad to see Wilma is ok.

One good thing today was phoning the CSA to tell them that I no longer get Child Support for his nibs, so they could close the case now and stop any further payments from ex husband. Very satisfying to eventually have nothing to do with him, especially as today would have been my 31st wedding anniversary, 34 years since courting.

Anyway, off now to watch Robot Wars with son. It's a university special and his university is on, was originally on in 2003 though so a bit dated now but still.

I think of Ariadne every time I start a sentence with 'and' - she said it was OK to do!?

What confuses me is when a poster comes back under a new name and then uses old name as well as new name.

I thought I had read that, perhaps a short ban or perhaps I have got it wrong?

Mumofmadboys stb was banned, why would you think she was 'due to be back' ?

I didn't know soontobe was back but I also realised that Imperfect had disappeared. She was a prolific poster and started lots of threads on matters important to her, particularly bereavement.

I think Ruby said that after sorting out DS ,she woukld be going on a Spa break.

I just started posting again today after taking a break. Nice to be missed. It is a worry about Ruby. Uni starts any day now and IIRC, she'd booked a break in a nice hotel to coincide with taking her son to uni, so maybe she's away. Bit worrying.

Alea and soontobe have both been back under different names for a while now.

I miss Ariadne too. I know she didn't post as much after they'd moved house to be closer to family, but then she seemed to stop altogether.

Also Alea and Wendysue have disappeared and I thought soontobe was due to come back. I miss their posts too.

I have missed Ariadne too. She was the first person who ever sent me a PM! Haven't seen a post from her for ages.

I saw a reassures ted thread and the name Ariadne was on. Has she name changed or just stopped posting? Her posts were always interesting.
