Good morning, Michael and all GNs. A dull start here in South Yorkshire. Parts of our city had apocalyptic weather last night with lashing rain, thunder, lightning - even a tornado was seen! We here on the south eastern edge had nothing. It is DH's birthday today so we are going out to lunch. Have a good day folks!

Good morning from sunny Colchester. Didn't go below 20 last night and another couple of hot, humid days due here.
I do wish the rain was shared out more fairly as our sprinkler has been working overtime this year ?
Ladies Wednesday coffee morning today and a bit of shopping. Then I expect I will need to come home for a shower and a siesta!

Not bad here in Stockport but last evening we had storms of biblical proportions.
The trams were halted, planes diverted, flooded roads but the ultimate was Man City's match had to be postponed. I hope not too many fans flew from Germany.
I am on strong antibiotics for the infection in my scar with no visible signs of improvement but today may see a difference.

It is very warm already in North Leicestershire. I'm still got gastric flu and I wish it would go away! One day sitting around doing nothing is fine but I'm fed up now!
