Deodrants

Any ladies out there? I'm only a woman so not qualified to speak or potentially advertise

I've used Forever Living Aloe Ever Shield for many years for that reason. Use heavy duty stuff if I'm dressing up [ie not very often].

Coincidence - I bought some this morning and noticed quite a few said no aluminium.
I was looking for one perfume-free - I hate these sweet perfumes that some have, I'd rather smell of sweat!

DH is still looking for one that doesn't bring him out in an underarm rash. A fairly recent problem. We have tried numerous brands that are supposed to negate this problem, but none of them work. Fed up of throwing them away. He uses medicated talc but that is a short term fix only.

I have a bit of an armpit problem and the only ones that work for me are those containing aluminium zirconium tetrachkorohydrex.
I'm not dead yet.

I have the same problem as janeainsworth and have to have a heavy duty antiperspirant. Its more important for me not to smell and not have wet underarms now, rather than worry about the unproven link with breast cancer.

I use a mineral stick. This does not contain aluminium.

I have told my husband that I want him to tell me if it doesn't work properly but he says I smell fine (and I have hot flushes).

I use Dove Original and recently saw that it contained those little plastic ball things, so I am looking for a new one too. I don't like the wet ones I prefer the hard paste type ones. I can't use aerosol ones, if they are still available, as they affect my breathing. Poor old soul.
