Autumn weather beginning. . . Oh no! That means spiders will be coming in. . . .

It's def a bit on the Autumn side of things here in Staffordshire. Much as I love our seasons I dread the Autumn because of all the spiders (of different sizes!) coming in, apparently looking for lurve.
I am really frightened of spiders-yes I know the ones we have here aren't harmful, they're more frightened of you than you are of them etc etc but I really don't like them.
Mercifully I have DH who knows he has to be on the alert at this time of year and go ahead of me to check but I still find the blighters. My stomach churns, I feel so edgy it's awful.
And one in the bedroom is the end. . . .
Any ideas?

I don't know where last night's beast went. Dh couldn't find it. I'm sitting with my feet up, just in case. :paranoid:

I spoke too soon on earlier post - a grotesque one in washbasin in cloakroom. Husband long gone to bed so with trembline hand, turned on hot tap until it returned down plughole. There was no conker in that area by the way - there is now !
