Good morning, rain hasn't reached the north east but it is cooler than yesterday.

D picking GSx2 up on her way home from work and they're here all weekend

The sky in Tynedale is dark grey and ominous. A day for staying indoors and doing little housework jobs and crochet.

Good morning all, raining in Liverpool, garden needs it. Food shopping today. Son coming down tonight, as it's raining daughter might be down with grandchildren for granddad to entertain them.

Good morning from Worcestershire. Dull and wet here today. Hoping it will dry up as a friend is coming over with her 3 grandchildren to play with my step grandson. Might have to abandon the shelter building and cook out and entertain them indoors?.

A decided chilly feel this morning in Stockport.
Losing the use of the car was one of the worst aspects of my H's decline PRINTMISS but it is taxis for all shopping now and I have just adjusted. No criticism but all the friends and neighbours who offered lots of vague help " we will help all we can" just did not materialise. It makes one very independent.
H has just said it has started raining.
