Good morning to you all, and great to hear from you Ann, a relief to know you are home, and we shall hear more from you. BadenKate you asked where I live, I live in Bognor Regis,not the most up-market place, but as I sat looking at the sea yesterday, I appreciated it is quite pleasant and uncrowded, and the people are nice. Today it is overcast and the wind has dropped. After a few hectic days I am going to take it easy.

Cloudy and breezy in south Northumberland, hope it improves later. Dog going to the beauty parlour this afternoon. Not much else on the cards for today. Got a new toy (camera) to play with. It is DH's 20 year service gift from work. He's I've needed a new camera for ages!

Morning everyone. Blue sky and sun shining at the moment in N Shropshire. Shopping this morning and washing, then packing ready for week in Scotland. Fingers crossed that weather stays good! Hope DGD is better this morning Newquay - DH is First Responder and says that children with temperature that high would immediately be taken to hospital for check if ambulance is called. Please tell DD to get medical advice if temp is still high this morning.

It is absolutely glorious on South Downs today. Taking Mum out for lunch then a couple of hours sat overlooking a lake with an ice cream I thought. Can't be out too long as she is too frail. And believe it or not she feels the cold!!!!!

DD2 facetimed yesterday showing us DGD who she had had to collect from nursery as she wasn't well. Nothing specific but listless, didn't want to eat.
Had a text at bedtime to say she'd had a temp of 40.4! DD had spent evening cooling her down. She went to sleep about 8pm. Awaiting news of how DGD is now and how she has been overnight. Fortunately Mummy, DD2 doesn't work today
I hate being so far away at times like this. . . .

I am back and it is all over. I came home yesterday afternoon.
Nothing like I expected really, and pain management was excellent. Bit more difficult now I am at home but onwards and upwards.

Little ones up and noisy here in our holiday house, our last day too.
Bright sunshine at the moment, I would love to sit in the garden but will have to do things that are "not boring". I'll miss them next week though.

Off to see mum in hospital, will need to leave plenty of time as parking is a nightmare.
