My spin dryer is in my shed. Never use it and it was taking up kitchen space. No electricity in shed, but I'd better hang on the to it, just in case. hmm

DH once had the tenacity to tidy it up!!! So he could temporarily store some of his toy model aeroplanes in there. Couldn't find a thing for ages. hmm

I had to spend £190 to have the roof replaced as it was leaking and damaging my stuff.

I've got a shed (got 4 in total, but this one's MINE!) And I use it for crafts and general hoarding! It's got three Windows with nice curtains. Keep getting cobwebs in it though. When there was electricity up there, I had a stereo and a fan. It's lovely and peaceful up there! ?

Hmmm we have a grand total of 4 sheds - they are all just sheds ?

DH and I have his and her's sheds. His is large and more of a whacky workshop where he makes all kinds of quirky garden ornaments and repairs our garden machinery. Mine is much smaller and full of pots, tools, paints, and stuff that no longer fits in our house due to downsizing.

It's fairly organised though and nobody is allowed to mess it up!

My shed is sister to JBF's . I know where everything is, DH doesn't, except for the lawn mower, which is going to a new home on Monday. (The new grass comes Wed, yeah!)
Anyway, it does have some slightly dodgy, yellow flowered , towelling curtains, backed with a beach mat. This is to stop the sun bleaching all the 'beyond value' objects stored therein. grin. There are tasteful black plastic shelves, full of things that you never know when you are going to need, and a mat at the threshold decorated with grass trimmings and the odd snail trail. Who needs a posh shed?

I have a shed called 'My Nana Rocks' and its where I do my crafting - well until we move that is then I will have 'upgraded' to a proper room :-) .

Its also where I do messy projects or create secret gifts with the grandchildren.

My husband suffers from shed envy too, he has three barns full of cr** so I have vetoed a shed.
Love some of the George Clarke ones , so inventive.

BIY - I like that. Anyone who has watched my DH putting up four curtain poles in the last few weeks (yes - it took weeks!) would identify with that!! grin

No, it's not a typo BIY - Botch it Yourself!

1 have had a potting shed but DH (whose own shed is full with his rubbish BiY tools) has gradually started a takeover bid of my shed hmm

As he's a clutter bug and I like everything neat and tidy I'm about to declare war grrrr.....

I have a shed - very tastefully painted cream. It is full of boxes, as is every other available space following our house move. It will definitely be a shed.

Sounds fantastic jogginggirl my son has similar but without the gin. More of a chalet really. Settees, eclectic fire for winter, flat screen TV big fridge filled with beer and wine. I've got a garage filled with motor bike parts sad

I have a 'she' shed aka The Gin Palace - it's not quite finished yet but it's coming on... It was a 'playhouse' and belonged to Diva 2 but when she moved house she wasn't allowed to take it so she and I had a chat and now she's happy to share it with me in my garden❤️
The wooden floor in our lounge is about to come up due to water damage but we think there will be enough un-damaged boards to use in The Gin Palace - it's been a long project with lots of interruptions but we hope to have it up and running by the end of the summer ...??

I don't have a fancy shed yet but after I have done some essential work to the house and garden I am definitely going to have a fancy shed out the back. I don't know yet what will be in it but I have seen a few of the fancy sheds on tv

I have little bit of shed envy (which isn't hard as we no longer have one)

On TV there are more and more programmes and competitions
(Such as George Clarke) for who can have most unusual shed

One not so long ago showed a shed in a ladies garden somewhere in the Midlands made into a beach hut.
(I think that programme was called something like 'love my shed')

Even Chelsea this year had a Shed competition.

My sister's shed has been made (a few years ago) in to a tropical bar.

Some sheds have become
Man Caves with TV and games etc
Others mini Cinemas
Offices
Writing rooms
On one of George Clarke's programmes it showed a large shed split in to three sections
First bit ... Wait for it...
A Shed!
Next bit office
Last section play room.
The 'Sheds' are all decorated inside and out,
some with their own wood burners.

Do any GNetters have a wacky Shed?
