Today would have been the Queen Mum's birthday. It was also my Dad's.

The BBC used to play the National Anthem on the radio, in HM's honour, before the morning news, each 4 August but I grew up thinking that it was being played for my Dad! It was such a shock when I was disabused of that daft idea!
