One Favourite piece of Music?

This is also one of my favourites but sadly it was played at a very dear friends funeral and it was months after before I was able to listen to it again....

Lots of classical and contemporary stuff but at the moment, if I want go space out, it is the Requiem from Armed Man by Karl Jenkins.

I heard that piece on Classic FM a few times and it always brings tears to my eyes. I've got it bookmarked on my favourites.
It was used for a romantic ballad Full Moon, and Empty Arms, Frank Sinatra, but I like the piano and orchestra much more.

I was ironing this morning with Classic FM on and they played the second movement of Rachmaninov's second symphony, which I am familiar with but hadn't heard for a while. Not one I would even class as a favourite but it made every hair I had stand on end it was so moving. It has never had that effect on me before - there are only a few pieces of music that do. Peculiar!

I agree with Mr Blue Sky, though. Definitely a feel good tune, that.
