A referee's whistle (in case I wake up to find a stranger looming over me in the night). Don't laugh, I spend too much time watching cold blood killers on CBSReality TV.

Nothing except DH , the times easy crossword and quiz and a cup of decaf but I have a bedside drawer which has just about everything except the kitchen sink.

- remote for radio
- snifferoonee - i.e. a Vicks up the nose thing - got flu at present
- kindle or book
- skinny old man

Hudl
Nintendo DS ( used as alarm clock) but with brain training programme inserted.
Rennie's

I used to have the dog too, but she is very old now and tends to be incontinent at times, so she sleeps on a chair in the hall.

Well George Clooney would be good ....but I'm afraid nowadays it's just a good book hmm

mobile phone switched to silent, just so I can look at the time if I wake up. There's no clock in the room and I don't have a watch.

Bottle of water. Well, four bottles of water actually. I like to have a good supply! It dates from when our water was cut off frequently when we first moved here. It has been allright for a few years now but old belt and braces attitudes die hard.

Glasses so I can see what time the mobile says!

Lipsil.

A lovely soft wool lace shawl that DD knitted for me some xmases ago. I pull it over my head if my head feels cold.

Bed socks most nights, or occasionally mittens (ask elegran)

Earplugs (not used very often)

Anniebach Wed 20-Jul-16 22:10:20
