The Yorkshire Shepherdess (@AmandaOwen8). Her photo stories about her family (nine kids; she gave birth to number nine just the other day) and her work on a remote farm are great.

The Herdwick Shepherd, James Rebanks (@herdydhepherd1). His farm is in the Lake District.

Both have also written books.

Was she the shepherdess that Ben Fogle stayed with for a week?

Huge respect for her - we could do with a few more like her. Her children were wonderful too .

Yes, I think so, n&g. She has had to leave the new baby in hospital (not sure if it was premature) while she went home. She's needed at home. So hard! but she takes it all in her stride.

Just read and discussed James Redbanks book at our Book Group. Well worth a read. He is an strong writer.
