Sitting in traffic behind a bakery delivery van, I noticed his bumper sticker read "no dough left in this vehicle overnight".
Loved it!
We also had an old Citroen Diane in the village which had a sticker "no baguettes, cheese or wine left in this vehicle overnight".
Have you seen any funnies?

My favourite was on a car in Dallas ....

Save a horse.... Ride a cowboy wink

I saw one in Florida in May.

"Someone else for President"

Not a sticker, but my favourite was written in the dirt on the back of a lorry:

"If you can't stop, smile as you go under"

My first car had a sticker "Preserve Wildlife - Pickle a Squirrel" grin

Again, not a sticker but found this really funny on Facebook. It was a dog in his cage and there was a placard in front which read "24601". The caption read " I don't know why the family are calling me 24601. I only stole some bread"

Written in the dirt on a filthy white van 'Also available in White'!

Saw one I didn't like once. Following a car with a sticker 'Show dogs on board'. So? Implication being, don't get too close, rear end me, and squash my 'far more important than any other dog, dog'. How pretentious.

Funny how different people see things Breeze .

I too used to have this sign , no implication on mine that my dog was anyway superior to yours but an indication that my dogs would have been secured in cages for transportation and so in the event of a crash may not have been able to escape from the car.

Bit like baby on board . No implication there that my baby is better than yours smile

I owned a show dog. But it's all about interpretation of course. Mine are working dogs now, also crated when travelling. Still don't like it I'm afraid. And I wouldn't like a baby sticker that read 'Baby that models on board'. Babies are babies, dogs are dogs, all valuable. Baby on Board, Dog on Board would be good with me. But sorry if I've offended you.

Baby on board makes me smile. No one is going to drive differently. I think that sticker actually means "we've got a baby "

Not a car sticker, but still about driving. I got sent this church sign in a funnies email.

Please rewind a couple of threads. And I will apologise for mentioning one that I didn't like, as it was a really funny thread and I feel I've sent it in another direction unintentionally. Keep the funny ones going! Sorry!

NanaandGrampy Sun 17-Jul-16 13:34:16

Not offended at all Breeze , it's all about perception just wanted to share how I perceived mine, so no apology necessary smile

I think baby on board worries me a bit because if there's a crash and babies not onboard time could be wasted and lives put at risk searching for it.

The "Baby on Board" started as a warning to rescuers that there should be a baby somewhere. In a serious accident they could be thrown free or stuck under a seat. They are now useless for that purpose as people leave them in their cars even when no baby is on board.

As a cat lover, the one I like is "Happiness is a warm pussy"
