Good morning, it is overcast here in the north east and must have rained during the night because there are large pools of water everywhere.

Good morning from an overcast Colchester. No rain here either yesterday. Our walk was very humid. I have just had to water my plants and I may have a courgette mountain any day!
DH came back from a week Mountain Biking and Hill Walking with the Air Cadets, dumped his washing, snored for a few hours and disappeared for a 12 hour shift at work. Yours truly therefore has a day of washing ahead...

Good morning, Michael, and all GNs. A grey day here in South Yorkshire today. Rain was forecast yesterday and we actually had a pretty nice day, but no doubt we'll get it today as we are planning a walk. Not on the Norfolk marshes though, nfk.... I you. I'll just have to look at my photographs!

GD 2 is 14 today and D and her are going to London to see Mamma Mia.

Good morning to you all, the sun is not too sure this morning, keeps having a look, then going back behind the clouds. The other half ran over the lead whilst mowing the lawn (grass) yesterday, just something else to make him depressed, must try to cheer him up today. Probably let him push the trolley round Saindsbury's. enjoy your days.

There is rain again in North Leicestershire - where does it all come from? It's good for the gardens, I know, but when am I going to be able to get the blessed garden back under control?

Morning All

High grey cloud here in Norfolk. We didn't get the forecast rain yesterday either! I think the forecasts are getting worse! Hopefully it'll be wrong again today as we're off on a walk at 10.00 looking for dragon flies with the Norfolk Wildlife Trust and the forecast says heavy rain between 11.00 and 12.00, just when we'll be well out on the marsh. Could get a bit soggy!
