Welcome PRINTMISS...there is plenty of room. Kick off your shoes, grab a comfy chair and leave the rest to us lot. If ever you need to share your feelings - good, bad or indifferent, you won't be alone. As Gaga meant to say some of us
including me, are a trifle bonkers. However, not to worry, feed us with virtual cake and a glass of bubbly and we soon calm down.
oldgoat Thank goodness. I was beginning to fret all over again. Boggit is an amazing wee cat to have survived a near-death experience and a major operation. Well done to the vet.
Tizliz the waiting lists do seem to be getting seriously longer than they were a few years ago. I've waited nine months to have my hernia re-repaired. Some days (when the inconvenience of the problem is minimal) I think...blow this for a game of soldiers. I cannot go through more surgery. And then, within a short space of time I'm tearing my hair out with frustration. On August 16th a surgeon will rootle around and hopefully come up with a plan to fix things.
NanaandGrampy Grandchildren certainly keep grandparents on their toes. Whenever I took charge of our wee man, I was terrified that some harm might befall him. He loved to pull stuff off shelves, clamber over barriers and sit on the inside of the fire guard. If he could have climbed the chimney, then he would have.
dustyangel Isn't it infuriating when messages, no matter how long, disappear without as much as a by your leave? Where do they go? I imagine them floating around on the airwaves...lost for all time.
My hair is naturally "kinky". It was very curly as a child. I've had a spiral perm (first ever) it was also cut as it was far too long. I shall share a photo with you all tomorrow. Promise.
annsixty Please read and inwardly digest Charleyg's good advice.
NellieM We need regular health updates from you. Please do not let the cough get worse than it is right now.
loopylou The photograph is marvellous. Such concentration on the face of the big brother. The teddy is very special. I hope that you enjoy a very happy birthday gathering and make every minute count when you have the wee one to cuddle.
corner and crafting I shall "tiddle" with my hair a little later. MacSporran says it's looking lovely. I shall share the new look with you all tomorrow. I shall also look out a photo of me when I was about five years old. As you'll see, my hair does have plenty of natural curl. It has, however, lost a lot of "body" and had become far too wispy for my liking.
