Oh! Lordy!

I'm really really sick of it. Angry too. I see that exactly the same football match is going to be on both BBC and ITV at the same time.

At least two matches daily for dh.
It'll soon be over.

No DH and no sports!!!

I'm not into sports really either, but it keeps DH happy as he loves all sports.I take myself off to the study or conservatory and listen to music /radio/ read books/ play on the PC or iPad/phone friends/ go out and meet friends, so there is always something else to do.

Oh I am so tired of it. Even when someone plays well which is rare there is too much. And if it's not sport it's the news over and over again. I'm taking myself off to bed so often I'll have bedsores.

I'm another not interested in sport. Why does everything have to move so some match or other can be shown. I switch on the TV at 6.00 every night to watch the news and in the past week there have been several times when it has been replaced by a football match! There are enough channels these days that surely one could be set aside solely for sport (whinge over!)

I'm another one totally uninterested in sport. Unfortunately, due to medication making me feel dizzy, I am reduced to sitting in front of the tennis - albeit with a book and GN on hand, but not what I usually do in July, usually out in the garden.

Pick a bale a cotton! Have you just admitted to dodging the license fee or do you live abroad? Just joshing. I like sports. But we do live in a divided household. Some football fans. Myself and OH golf/tennis (him Rugby), grandkids egg and spoon (not yet televised!). Surely another channel to watch if you're not keen?

I don't mind the odd bit of tennis, but would ban football in a heartbeat!

PRINTMISS I am with you. Fortunately none of the men in my family have any interest eithe.,

Although we do still pay for a television license, we are radio listeners rather than viewers so we consider that we are paying for that instead.
