Hi yesterday my grandson came out to me and his mum. We could not of been any more proud of him for coming out. He has asked me and his mum to tell everyone else in the family I don't know weather he should tell them or I or his mum should.

I continue to wonder about your take on brexit.

Grantj10 Sun 26-Jun-16 21:22:15

It wodulnt effect my or my families holidays to much I or my family haven't been aboard for 15 years my grandson and younger granddaughters has never been abroad

Lentilweaver Sun 26-Jun-16 21:19:47

what a lot of wierd answers
if your 11 yo GD told you she was going to marry (some pop idol) when she grew up would you say 'lovely dear, but it may just be a phase - you may actually be a lesbian'??
Many people say they 'knew' they were gay from this kind of age or younger, the only reason people don't 'know' they are heterosexual at that age is because it's the default position, so nothing in the expectations of those around them jars. Given the amount of homophobia around I think it highly unlikely a boy would say he was gay without a good reason.
Give the boy some credit!

Grant your posts are always so intriguing that I'd love to know your take on the referendum on one of the approriate threads (if you have time while you're busy packing for your holiday).
One post I saw on FB was an interview with a young woman who was happy with the result but thought it was a shame that she wouldn't now be able to go to Disneyland Paris since they were closing the borders.
Any thoughts on that and how it might affect future holiday plans for your family?

Grantj10 Sun 26-Jun-16 21:00:48

Yeah I'm looking foward to my holiday with my daughter and grandson and step granddaughters

Alea Sun 26-Jun-16 20:38:07

Were you? (Looking forward to it)
Not any more?

Grantj10 Sun 26-Jun-16 20:36:02
