I won't stick a label on him it's only me and his mum that he has told he wants to tell his older stepsisters today.

Exactly - he has to have a get-out clause that does not leave him feeling foolish. No problem if he is gay, but he is far too young to be attaching a label to himself.

Many teenagers go through all sorts of sexual and otehr confusion- so don't let your love and acceptance to encourage him one way or the other. Just tell him he has plenty of time- there is no hurry to decide. There is indeed nothing wrong to being gay, but equally it would be a shame to allow himand the rest of the family to put a permanent label on him right now. As long as he knows you love him, and whatever he decides for himself in the future is fine by you, then just give him time.

I have chatted to him about how he feels and he insisted to me he's gay I told him it dosent matter and he has my full support

I do feel 11 is quite young. Perhaps you need to tell him he has a lot of growing up to do and to keep an open mind with no judgement. Put on 11 year old language of course.

A child of 11 does not know whether they are gay or not. I guess he has not even reached puberty. Most boys have not at this stage.

People should be kind and patient and not challenge him on this; but neither should they make such a big deal about this that he cannot back down later when he gets an erection at the sight of a mini skirt.
