Glasto... oh dear

Used to go to Reading and Knebworth in my youth but can't remember it being as muddy as Glasto! Must be climate change....... or maybe rose coloured specs.

ELO were Fab U Lus just did their music faultlessly - great to enjoy it on a comfy sofa with a large glass of red!!

Yes ninathenana I too was shocked at Adele's bad language. I feel it's a shame as she writes and sings so amazingly. No wonder the bbc put out a warning first. I still love her though!

Wasn't Adele amazing? I have had her songs on my mind all day.

Love Adele. Could've done without the swearing though. I'm not a prude but was taken aback when seconds after sweetly lifting little girl back off the stage, she swore. Then a bit later discussed taking a whizz and worse! down the front (used the not so nice words). If all over 18, well, whatever, but I don't like the little ones hearing it.

Adele was great.

We went to a festival in Yorkshire many many years ago (Krumlin?) It started sunny, then rained and blew, our little tie_dyed tent couldn't cope. Then the organisers ran off with all the money and the bands didn't get paid. It was all very weird.

Mud! My friend was there the day they emptied the toilets out but blew instead of sucked.

Mud, mud, glorious mud, nothing quite like it for cooling the blood!

I went to the very first one and the third. Only a one day event then, free and then £1 and about a thousand people there. Loved it, but couldn't face it now. Used to love Knebworth as well, been there a few times.
Cropredy is good too if you enjoy the folksy vibe.

Loopylou I agree totally with you. I can see how it appeals to people just not me. A comfy sofa, glass of wine and chocolate are much more my style. Probably explains the extra weight I am carrying too.
