HELP. I'm trying to organise a DIY murder mystery evening for about 70 people. Does anyone have experience of hosting such an event? There are loads of kits out there, and I can't find any reviews. Any help or advice would be much appreciated. Thanks.

I have hosted a couple of smaller scale murder mystery parties in my home and have 'acted' in one larger event. The latter was held in a local restaurant and the story was split into 2 parts. Part 1 before dinner and part 2 after the main course. During dessert the diners discussed who did it and put their ideas down on paper. The big reveal was after dessert and coffee.
Our play was entirely separate from the dinner but you can get scripts where the action takes place within he dinner party itself. Good luck!

We went to a Dads Army event. 5 or 6 actors played capt Mainwaring, Fraser, Jones, Pike etc. They were semi professional i think. There was a three course meal, lots of in jokes, hroup shouting etc. Great fun. The only onrs ive hosted have been for 6to8 people at home.
