In the magazine section of The Telegraph this morning a singer whose name I cannot recall, was held up as a model of summer styling with her 'playful accessories and nonchalant attitude'. I just wondered if you were sporting something similar yourself this fins Saturday morning - I know I'm not I'm still in my blue and white spotted M & S dressing gown with my hair standing on end. grin

I forgot to mention my very playful multi-striped socks with nonchalant non-grip tops, bought in a local garden centre?

I'm up, dressed (only just though) and wearing lipstick so as not to frighten the horses my daughter and grandsons when they arrive. I'm feeling slightly nauseous and tired, but planning on playful and nonchalant for tomorrow - will that do?

Wearing a comfy and nonchalant pair of cream linen trousers, baggy and probably so old fashioned they are back in fashion again with a new navy t shirt and a playful pair of fitflot sandals, well they seem to be playfully going one way and my feet are going the other.

My accessories (earrings) seem to be behaving themselves, however.

I am wearing a pair of fetching track suit trousers with a stylish baggy T shirt bearing the logo of a restaurant, in Bath, which closed down about ten years ago. I am wearing white Croc flip flops which allow cool air to reach my poorly trotters.

Oh yeah, Jane! ThAnks!

NanKate Sat 18-Jun-16 15:02:52

A rather fetching pair of light blue socks which hide my pink toe caps which protect my crooked toes.

A pair of M and S tiger skin motif Stretch knickers.

No bra Nonnie! Get thee to a corsetiere at once!

Jane10 Sat 18-Jun-16 14:56:43

Its not a joke wot. Its just that this person posts about buying plimsolls or other footwear for a GS. I suspect the same idiot person is behind these daft posts about buying a onesie for an 11 year old.

Nonnie1 Sat 18-Jun-16 14:42:10

Croc flips flops baggy leggings pyjama top no bra

Swing low sweet chariot smile

I love Crocs. I have flip flop Crocs and I declare they are the most comfortable thing I have ever worn. I wash them in the machine and they come out like new and it's like walking on air when I put them on.

I have the larger ones for gardening in bright pink.

That's another one for the 'best thing since sliced bread' book !

Maybe we should start a topic on that ?

LOL

wot me ditto. May I suggest that you do not spend so much money in the one shop? You should spread it around a bit.

wot Sat 18-Jun-16 14:27:07

I haven't brushed my hair yet!!! But have brushed my teeth.

wot Sat 18-Jun-16 14:26:07

I bought £3 plimpsol type shoes from primark and they are marvellous!! Comfortable and ok with leggings and skinny jeans.

Jane10 Sat 18-Jun-16 12:37:35

I can't remember the last time I was nonchalant sad.

Charleygirl Sat 18-Jun-16 12:19:09

I hope nobody rings my doorbell. At least I am out of nightdress etc but I am in the most comfortable draw string trousers I possess. Bought in M&S about 100 years ago, with holes in them, courtesy I think from resident moths. My top is a long sleeved TU T shirt and my fluffy backless slippers from Fred. You will have worked out that a fortune was spent on today's clothes nonchalantly worn.

I had a late breakfast so I do not need any lunch.

Maggiemaybe Sat 18-Jun-16 12:16:44

Oh, you've broken my dream, downtoearth, as they say round here! I dreamt last night that I was at a crowded restaurant, insouciantly sporting a very playful shift dress, looked down and my legs were as hairy as Chewbacca's. Fortunately I've just checked and can see skin, so panic over.

hildajenniJ Sat 18-Jun-16 12:04:25

I'm wearing navy denim jeggings with a purple fleece jumper buttoned at the beck with three large buttons. It's too chilly for anything summery. To go with this ensemble,I have a pair of purple and white spotty socks and fluffy slippers by F&F. My only accessory is an elderly dog who is now not terribly playful. I am sitting nonchalantly trying to think of what to make for lunch, from the assorted ingredients in my fridge.

downtoearth Sat 18-Jun-16 11:45:00

Jokingly suggested plimsolls...thoughts of comfort at forefront of mind ....at moment feet artfully displayed in a bowl with warm water and to complete my look jeans rolled up to knees to expose hairy shins that have not seen razor for a week blush
