Had my third x-ray and don't need an operation on my broken arm. Huge relief - now the hard work begins getting the full movement back.

The Vitamin D tablets the doctor recently prescribed for the other half seem to be working, he managed to cut the grass in one go yesterday (we do not have a lot), and then cleared up after himself. He felt tired afterwards but not worn out.

Good morning all. I overslept and am just coming to! Luckily it doesn't matter as my calendar looks a bit bare today. Let's hope it doesn't rain on Wimbledon.

My neice's cancer hasn't spread and the surgeon is hopeful that surgery to remove the very small tumour should do the trick. She looked so much more relaxed today and I am beside myself with relief smile.

Oh blast - I didn't spot this thread had been resurrected. I've just put up a new post with my good news here: www.gransnet.com/forums/charities/1227426-A-little-celebration

We've just heard from GS that he got a first in his Maths degree. If that isn't good news, I don't know what is.

Just been to ENT dept at local hospital. Have been quite ill this year and went deaf in one ear. Hearing now ok and a probe up the nose and into my throat showed I didn't have anything unpleasant in that area despite croaky voice. Felt relieved. Told my hearing ok for my age! Dd1 back from a lovely trip to Yellowsrone with her 3 year old and popped round to tell us all about it. He was ecstatic about all the wildlife he'd seen. Lucky little boy.

Bellanonna Wed 29-Jun-16 18:11:03

Katy, Madeira is lovely! All those flowers in public places! Enjoy. I'd like to come with you!

Bellanonna Wed 29-Jun-16 18:11:29

DD called to say she has passed her stage 5 CIPD exam. SI pleased for her. She is a working Mum and can now have a break from studying.
