Moths!

I know there was a thread on this but I can't find it. Anyway a Gran had posted that she'd spotted a moth the day before she went on hols. Lots of Grans posted helpful info. We followed the suggestions and put the Rentokill catridges and papers etc in wardrobes. So far so good but on our return from our hols we seem to have spotted several of the little B's fluttering about. I found one in a pile of plates in the kitchen cupboard of all places.
Looks like we have a problem. We have carpets, curtains and rugs. Any suggestions as to how to further mothproof the whole house? We have a cat so can't use anything toxic. Help!!

Amazon has the full range of Zero moth killer products. The spray is really affective, followed up by the wardrobe hangers and sticky strips to catch any lingerers!

Thanks. Have been online-they're carpet moths apparently so I've ordered products for that, curtains and one for Persian rugs. I feel a hooverathon coming on!

Don't forget under furniture. I once left a dresser in place for approx. four weeks and when I moved it again to hoover, the carpet was threadbare.

I was watching a programme on this - was it The Ladykillers? - and you must be very careful about your vacuuming. Make sure you move furniture about and pull on corners/edges if you can and vacuum under there. Turn rugs over and vacuum the backs (I was horrified when I did this a few months ago, the amount of dust that came out). Don't pack your clothes too tight in the wardrobe. Freeze anything small that you are worried about. It was a very interesting series.
