Hi yesterday my grandson 11 asked me if I could buy him a onesie and ugg style boots to go with them. Where could I buy them only looking to spend around £15

Grantj10 Wed 15-Jun-16 18:31:16

Looks like a babygro. My 4 year-old grandson would run screaming for the hills if shown that. Totally rIdiculous!

Bellanonna Wed 15-Jun-16 21:30:49

What kind of age are you grant? Obviously you don't have to answer that. Just curious.

Grantj10 Wed 15-Jun-16 21:58:34

50-65

Alea Wed 15-Jun-16 22:06:01

Alea Wed 15-Jun-16 22:13:24

Jalima Wed 15-Jun-16 23:03:15

heir and their

Bellanonna Wed 15-Jun-16 23:18:39

Does he wear a lot of pink then, grant? Rather unusual look for a boy? And that looks like a large babygro, with a teddy on the pocket. Really cool. He'll be the envy of all the kids on the campsite.

Alea Wed 15-Jun-16 23:24:40

Heir, their and everywhe're??

Jalima Wed 15-Jun-16 23:26:37

Well, at least his knees will stay clean when he trips up in his over-sized Uggly boots

Bellanonna Wed 15-Jun-16 23:32:12

Yes but the babygro onesie will get dirty. Easier to wash knees. A kilt maybe? Might be a good look with the uggs.

Jalima Wed 15-Jun-16 23:34:06

I suppose ll year old boys and dirt go together

Grantj10 Thu 16-Jun-16 05:36:11

He shouldn't get durty and the uggs are only 1 / 1/2 over size

Elegran Thu 16-Jun-16 06:38:24

Boy 11 camping won't trip over his enormous boots, fall into the mud and get dirty. You have a grandson in a million there grant.

Pull the other leg.

Grantj10 Thu 16-Jun-16 08:56:37

The boots arnt that big only 1 and 1/2 size to big for grandson

MiniMouse Thu 16-Jun-16 09:55:29

Room enough to store his elevenses for when he's peckish smile

FarNorth Thu 16-Jun-16 10:05:52

Grantj10, most grandparents would just have had a look on the internet then bought the clothes and thought "job done".
You seem to be making far too much of this.
Maybe you need other activities? Try U3A, they have lots of social opportunities for older people, and none of them are bingo.

Alea Thu 16-Jun-16 11:01:46

Grantj10 you have my every sympathy if you are so lonely that 4 pages of "conversation" on such a trivial subject can entertain you. But let's face it, this is a a bit of a larf - only not funny- and if you truly think that you can buy an 11year old kid boots 11/2 sizes too big and a grey and pink babygro, who are we to tell you otherwise.
I am sure you can now find something else to keep you amused as this subject must by now have reached the end of its shelf life.
