Morning all
I only discovered this site on the bus home from work last night. So nice to see something for the grandparents for a change!
I work full time but love to read and knit too
I'm hoping this site will help give me the kick i need to start dealing with the things life throws at you after 50, mainly the gradual but oh so scarey weight gain! Inside I am young, slim fun loving. On the outside I've even surpassed my mother and become my Nan!!!
So here's to the inspiration, support and encouragement I am sure I will get from all you lovely members

Welcome to GN justnanny. It is a lovely site with such a wide variety of members - whatever your issue, there's always several grans - and granddads - who will be able to help you. Or you might just want to have a chat, We're very good at that on here grin

Hi. Welcome! I've only been on here a month and find the site really interesting too. I'm hoping it will help with my planned weight reduction but judging by some of the recipes I've seen so far, I doubt it will. ?

Welcome justnanny. If you want a site that is always warm and welcoming, go to soop's kitchen. There is never a cross word said there. I am not saying that we are always in agreement but we never snarl - I enjoy it there. As others have said, it is addictive and if you have a full time job you will be doing little else!!!!! flowers
