Morning Mick, morning All. Bright and sunny in our corner of Somerset. Out with friends today so best get organised. Not sure about your AGM, Mick. They are often not fun but if you want to influence anything, or just know what's under discussion, perhaps best to go? Hope Thursday is kind to everyone.

Morning all!

A lovely bright start in North Leicestershire which is good as I have to take DS1 to get his botox injections and the drive takes so much longer in the rain. Then I'm going out for lunch for the second time this week.

It's a dilemma Mick but you might miss some momentous news if you don't go.

Good morning.
Yes I think go Mick, there'll be other things to do and people to see as well as the business agenda and tea and biscuits.
Cloudy this morning in West Lancs. Grass is growing like fury though, lawn mower will have to come out today as we're going away for weekend.

Good morning to you all, a pleasant morning here, and the garden is looking fresh after the rain yesterday. I do not have any advice about the U3A meeting, never been to one, so don't know, did try to get in touch with our local one, but no reply, so did not bother. I am doing the teas for the bowls club ladies match this p.m. only tea and biscuits. Enjoy your days.

Good morning Michael, and all GNs. I was going to have a fishing day today but have decided to go tommorrow instead as it looks like being dryer for longer. Hope I haven't shot myself in the foot. So how to seize the day today? Library and gardening I think...... Enjoy your day whatever you're doing. (You can always have a nap, Mick, if it's not very interesting!)

Good morning everyone.
Overcast and grey in Tyne Valley. I do hope it rains, the garden is very dry. This morning a furniture charity is coming to collect my sofa corner group, and this afternoon my new sofa is being delivered, so all being well, we will only have a short time with nothing to sit on.
As for your agm Mick, I would go, but then I'm a nosey parker!

Good morning from a grey skied Colchester. It was bright earlier but has clouded over. Rained yesterday but I was hoping to get washing out today.
Got a list of small jobs that need doing. First is to get dressed and pop to the post box with birthday cards- seem to be a lot in May.

Good morning from a grey north east. I am sitting in bed with my new tablet and deciding what I might do today.

Good Morning from Cheshire. There is a lot of grey cloud about but the sun is trying to get through.
I wandered out into the garden in my dressing gown at 7am ish. The lovely blackbirds in our close were up on the television arials and chimney pots singing their heads off. They seem to do this all day, it's a lovely happy sound. smile smile

'Morning all. It's a lovely morning here but heavy rain has been forecast for later.

I am going away with friends this weekend and have just realised I need to shave my armpits and legs, and give my rough old feet a bit of a pedicure. I wish I had the 'pamper' gene' I only do grooming when absolutely necessary. blush

I also need to get out the magnifying mirror to sort out my eyebrows. Sigh. There are far more interesting things to do on such a nice morning. Hope everyone else has better things planned for today.
