I don't mean to, but I seem to inadvertently collect Jiffy bags 
, it seems wasteful to throw them away, and they can't go in the recycling. I now have quite a collection in our "office".
I suppose I could offer them on Freecycle, perhaps there might be someone who could make good use of them?
Do you ever collect things, not because you are an enthusiast but out of habit ?
I heard on the radio about a woman who collected menus posted through the door for takeaways. Her husband said she had hundreds of them. One day they decided on a Chinese takeaway, she ordered by number over the phone. When all the wrong food arrived they realised it was an out of date menu and all the numbers had changed. 
I have 2 drawers full of pop socks, tights and assorted footwear, many are just single socks
