Another wonderful day here in Norfolk too. The plan is to take a picnic and go for a chug down the river. I need to loosen few pound too - the ones I've already put back on. Having seen the pork pie and cake DH has bought for our jaunt, I don't think the diet will start today!

Good morning to you all, it is another beautiful morning, but I am not feeling well at all, I know I have just done too much, and will now have to cancel playing bowls this afternoon, which means letting people down, as it is Men-v-Ladies, and once upon a time I would have gone along, but not today, I am doing a "Me First" day. Oh, dear what a moan on a lovely sunny morning, enjoy your days everyone.

Morning from sunny and warm Staffordshire. Sorry to hear you're not feeling well Printmiss-what time is your bowls match? Is there time to rest up first and still go? It's our DGS's 8th birthday today-just phoned him and sung Happy Birthday with DH. He told us of a gift he'd had WWE-no, me neither, but he's pleased with it and a book that turns its own pages. His favourite is a metal detector.
Been invited round there later for a birthday BBQ-must remember some coins, screws etc to scatter in flowers beds for him to find?

Good morning all. It's a lovely bright start in North Leicestershire, the forecast is for a hot sunny day and we are having barbecued spatch cocked chicken this evening so I can just sit back and relax!

It's a hazy start to what is expected to be a lovely warm day in the Tyne Valley. I think DH enjoyed his birthday yesterday. He spent it pottering around in the garden. DS is coming for lunch. We are having roast duck.

Good morning, Michael and all GNs. A cool cloudy start here in South Yorkshire. After a lovely day spent walking yesterday I was up half the night with stomach pains, so I don't feel like getting up this morning. We weren't planning to go very far today as DH is putting the first coat on the newly plastered ceiling in the conservatory, so I'll just stay out of the way! Have a happy day folks.
