It's another bright start in North Leicestershire but without the frost we've had for the past few days

Today I have to nip to the butchers and then I'm meeting DD1 for lunch in the village where I grew up. I'm going to show her the tiny house with an outside loo that was our home as she can't really believe what I've told her. We'll also see the tiny village school and the fields and brooks where we spent our spare time. Slightly scary that I am a living piece of social history!

Good morning from a blue skied but hazy Colchester. Still cold and more wintry showers predicted. It's getting me down that I am still in winter coat and boots.
DH punctured a tyre yesterday so we have to replace that this morning. Such fun!

Today we're still putting the house to rights after all the work but DH has finally succumbed to my bug and is feeling it so not sure how much we will get done x

Good morning to you all, the sun is doing its best, so hopefully it will win the battle against the clouds. I have drops for my really sore eye, after yesterdays visit, but the cataract is too small to worry about. Hopefully with the eye drops my vision will soon be returned to normal. Those I used just before going to bed certainly helped me sleep through the night without waking with pricking eyes. Off to lunch with friends - looking forward to that. Enjoy your days.

Good morning Michael, and all GNs. Another bright start here in South Yorkshire, but all sorts is forecast AGAIN! Anyway, I put my back out yesterday so I won't be going very far today. It is making me very bad tempered. Poor DH is looking out his tin helmet as we speak!

There is snow all around on the hills,, but as yet, none in the Tyne Valley. It has been raining but is dry at present.
The "washing it clean" is busy already. I have lots of washing to do, I want to change all the beds today.
