Afternoon all

We have had wind sun rain hail and snow in 4 hours! Just need to pop up the bank to the Chemist then im in for the rest of today need to finish off garnents much prefer the knitting of them! Keeping my phone on loud while out and about... Counting down to D Day Thursday ??

Good afternoon now, I was about to post at 10am but hairdresser arrived. First haircut and blow dry without having colour applied, not allowed, doesn't look too bad but time will tell.
It was frosty this morning and then it started snowing, no doubt the sun will shine this afternoon.
Off to get weekly blood test.

We have snow on the ground and we are not high up. Getting a bit fed up with this now, come on Spring!

Good morning all! Sun is shining in through the windows, but a bitterly cold strong wind after the gales yesterday. Feels like the middle of winter.

DH found the body of a newly hatched chick under one of our trees. I found 3 a few days ago. Not looking good for the wildlife who clearly thought Spring had come.

Late to the thread this morning as I have been mopping the window condensation caused by the drying carpets. Couldn't keep as many windows open as needed because it is bloomin freezin.
Also DH has lost his door keys again and why don't I know where they are?

We have a bright start in the Tyne Valley, but the clouds are building. Snow showers are forecast. No outdoor activities for me today. I'm going to relax and continue with my crochet.

Herefordshire always has the feeling of sunshine, even when the weather is awful!

Hopefully at the end of next month we will be popping down to get some strawberries from the fruit farm for tea agsin.

Its been bright and sunny here in our part of Essex since 06:19 !!!

Carpet fitters are coming so it was a case of lifting the old carpet - we did an excellent job( didn't WE Grampy ) r

Amidst the chaos - I'm off to see a friends new baby Sophia Grace.

It feels decidedly chilly this morning in my part of Scotland. Lovely day for walking but unfortunately I'm working today.

A lovely morning here in Stockport but like the rest of you decidedly chilly..
A neighbour is coming for coffee this morning which is a mixed blessing, nice to have some conversation but she is in the process of buying and selling houses and it is all going horribly wrong and she will tell me in great detail all about it.
However she is having an awful time and I will try to be a sympathetic listener.
Hope things will go better for you Alea I expect you are in for several days of hospital visiting.

Good morning to you all, like you Gaga we have a beautiful morning, but I fear it is another of those bright inside but cold outdoors, not put my nose out the door yet. I prefer it to start bright like this, rather than has recently happened, miserable days and then about 5 p.m. the clouds disperse and we have a a lovely evening, when it is too late to do very much. Moan of the day ended. Enjoy your days.

Morning all! It's a lovely sunny morning here in S.E. Hampshire which is pleasing as I am off on a WI trip to the New Forest with lunch at a catering college there. Have left DH some provisions involving a tin opener for his lunch. He can manage that!

Bit of a chilly night! The "frost warning" (under 4 C) came on in my car as I was driving home from Milton Keynes about 10 pm and I think it got even colder.
